4. Weird Feeling

Few months have passed since I last talked to Tina. I was quite busy with school and my own personal things to deal with. I'd hangout with Lucy from time to time as well, usually going out to the city with her. The only time I'd see Tina was whej we walked past each oher in school. I know she's been trying to reach me in person, always saying hi but I never said anything back. She texted me too, but I left her on read.

“Are we.. still friends...?”

I was on my way to school, just about a few meters away from the entrance. I looked around me, then at my phone to check the time. Dammit, where's Lucy? She told me she'd be here by 8!

“Y/N!!” I heard someone yell my name from a distance, “Y/N I'M SORRY I'M LATE! I missed the bus, oh god I'm so sorry.” it was Lucy. She was out of breath, as if she ran a marathon or something. “Lucy! It's almost like this happened yesterday too! And the day before too! Pretty sure you keep missing the bus on purpose..”
We stood there in silence, she looked at me without saying a word.
“What the hell? No?? It's just that I overslept, I go to sleep late at night. Don't be so suspicious just like that, that's not cool buddy.”
“Alright, I'm sorry. Let's go or else we're gonna be late for class too.”

It was 1:25PM, I was done with school for today so I was just waiting for the bus. So I stood there at the bus stop just looking around to see if the bus's coming, didn't pay much attention to what was happening right at the bus stop.
“Hey, Y/N.”
I looked around to see who's trying to talk to me, it was Tina.
“Oh, hey Tina.”
“Hey-hey, what's up? Why've you been ignoring my texts and calls? You good? It's rude y'know. I don't know what I did wrong to deserve this.”
I raised my eyebrows and looked at her. “You didn't do anything, it's just uhm, my mood swings, that's all.”

She came closer to me. “Y/N, did.. did I do something that hurt you? Please, don't just hide it from me, I want to fix it!”, she lifted my face with her soft hands, “Look at me. I'm really sorry for whatever it is that I've done, I just don't want to lose you. You're a really close friend of mine and I care a lot about you.”
I looked at her for a split second and teared up a little, “I just.. I just... I HATE SEEING YOU WITH OTHER GUYS Y'KNOW!”, my voice cracked as I said that. “Last time I saw you making out with this dude in the hallway and it really hurt me. Seeing you do that with some guy. Look I'm sorry, I just.. I think.. I think I like you, Tina... I'm sorry for making all this mess just because of that.”, she looked at me with sadness in her face, slowly putting her arms around me and pulling me into a hug.
“I'm so sorry you had to see that, I- I didn't know.. I didn't want you to see that. In fact, no one was supposed to see it. It was just a bet, nothing more, I promise. Gods, I wish I had known before. All those weeks and months of silence all because of this... I'm really sorry, Y/N. If.. if there's anything I can do to fix this...”
I looked back at her, caressing her cheek and giving it a little kiss, “It's okay, maybe I just overreacted a little. Time will fix this, but for now, let's just hang out after school, alright? I mean, if you want to. We could go get some ice-cream or just go shopping or whatev-”, she cut me off by kissing me on the lips. It wasn't a sloooow passionate kiss like the ones you see in the movies, no! It was kind of awkward, but I liked it. I think we both liked it. And not gonna lie, her lips are literally the softest, I loved it so much, even though it lasted like seconds before pulling away from each other. “Oh god, Y/N I'm so sorry! I didn't mean to do that I- I mean, it just came to me naturally, i-if I made you feel uncomfy or whatever-”,
“Heyyy, calm down. Everything's fine! Besides, I ddn't say that I didn't like it”, I smirked at her before I started laughing.

Today was one of the best- no, wait. It was THE BEST day EVER! I still can't believe she kissed me! And we did hang out after school. She even waited for the bus with me, she's so sweet.
I think.. I think I love her...

Guys I'm so so sorry it took me so long to finish this, I was just so busy with school (still am) and I was sooo demotivated. But I'm back after a few months. I might not be so active because my school year ends in a month, but I'm trying to come up with something new. Maybe a Reyge fanfic? I think that'd be cool..
