An OC One. Interesting write.
I still think I got the visuals wrong.
Watatsumi lived in a villege with her little sister Asuga. Watasumi was a girl with many talents at a young age, so many that some say she was from the heavens. She could sing, dance, ice skate, build up her stress enough to be a fireball in PE class. But her little sister could always make her relax upon sight. Asuga was like a fish following her school, she always followed her older sister. Asgua was much different from Watatsumi. She was faster, had a love for butterflies, and always prepared to be a human shield for her sister. "If Watasumi needs any help, then Asuga will solve the probelm for free!" She always said proudly. Thought she did not want her sister to pay her since she is so nice.
One day, the two were venturing out in the woods. Watatsumi still had her fan on her face in case anyone from town would see her. Asuga was playing around with the bag she was holding in her hands. They both decided to take a break from all the walking when a shuffle was heard behind them. The little blondie went to go investigate the noise when her sister held her back from exploring. "It's not worth our time. Let's eat first, then see what the noise was." Watatsumi said, gesturing for her little sister to sit down next to her. She sat down after seeing the food options.
After eating, Watatsumi put her fan away, showing she was serious. They tried to find the source of the sound they heard earlier. No luck was fortunate for them, but Asuga did find a statue. A butterfly spirit lead her to it, an area surrounded by Sakura trees. The older sibling noticed that her sister was gone, panic starting to build up inside of her. She starting searching for her sister, only finding two statues. One of her, and one of Asuga. Asuga's statue had a black butterfly perched on her finger as she looked peaked with curiosity. Watatsumi cried holding her sister, she turning into stone beside her sister.
They say if you don't pray to both statutes, you are cursed for life.
