After pillar meeting

Giyuu was heading back to his estate not wanting to socialize with anyone right now

Mitsuri: Tomioka!

Giyuu turns around to see Mitsuri running up to him with her usual bright smile
He liked her smile it reminded him of Tsutako which he liked

Giyuu: ...yes Kanroji?...
Mitsuri: would you like to eat with me and Iguro-san later?
Giyuu: I'll see if I can...
Mitsuri: ok! Send a crow if you decide to come along with us!

Mitsuri runs off waving back at him which he waves back
Tomioka liked Mitsuri a lot she was a lot like his sister though he thought she showed too much skin
At that moment he thought of the other hashira especially Sanemi
He continues to walk to his estate to see Sanemi there waiting there for him

Giyuu: Shinazugawa? Why are you here?
Sanemi: I wanted to talk to you...
Giyuu: oh well then come inside...

They both take their shoes off and head inside Tomiokas estate
Tomioka noticed Sanemi tried to avoid eye contact with him for some reason

Giyuu: did you want to talk about something specific Shinazugawa?
Sanemi: uh yes I wanted to ask... why did you protect the demon girl in the first place
Giyuu: well... when I first met them I tried to kill nezuko but her brother tried to kill me in the process so I had to knock him out... Nezuko was able to kick me away from him and I guess she thought I was some kind of threat to them and she protected her brother instead of devouring him...

They both stayed quiet for a moment before Giyuu hears shuffling

Mitsuri: Giyuu! Are you home?

Giyuu heads to the door to go see Mitsuri before Sanemi grabs his haori

Giyuu: Shinazugawa?... do you need something?
Sanemi: no uh sorry...

Giyuu just nods and heads outside to see Mitsuri with Iguro

Mitsuri: I know I said you could send a crow but I really wanted to spend time with you!

Giyuu thought that Mitsuri was just being nice so he let them both inside to talk

Sanemi heard Mitsuris voice and just decided to rush into a room which he thought was Giyuus
He didn't want a hashira knowing he was with a hashira like Giyuu

Iguro: Hey Tomioka... Is someone else here?...

Sanemi didn't know Iguro was here and if he caught him here he would ask so many questions
Sanemi hoped Giyuu would not tell them he was here

Giyuu: no there isn't it's just us
Mitsuri: well uh did you decide Tomioka

Sanemi was curious what Mitsuri meant by that

Giyuu: uh yes I wouldn't mind going to eat with you and iguro...
Mitsuri: that's great! We'll wait for you outside!

Mitsuri grabs Iguros hand and heads outside
Giyuu checks if they are fully outside

Giyuu: Shinazugawa?... I'm heading out now...
Sanemi: uh I'll leave when they're gone is that all right?
Giyuu: uh yes goodbye for now...

Sanemi hears footsteps getting closer and wondering what Giyuu is doing
He didn't mind being with Giyuu but didn't want to admit it
Sanemi saw the door to the room open
He saw Giyuu just standing there in front of him

Sanemi: what the hell do you want

Giyuu got closer to Sanemi now their faces were inches apart

Giyuu: I'll see you another time Shinazugawa

Giyuu left with his sword in his hand and Sanemi felt stupid once he realized
Earlier Giyuu took of his sword and put it somewhere and when he got close to Sanemi he was just reaching for it

Giyuu was too nervous to ask him to hand it to him or to ask him to move out of the way in case he would react badly

Giyuu left the room and left the door open
Sanemi heard his footsteps fading
He blushed like crazy at the thought of what Giyuu did

Sanemi: what a fucking idiot why did I have to love someone like him
