Content warning: description of sexual assault.

Vincenzo grips my hips as my nails dig into his chest, every thrust sends a euphoric feeling driving from my limbs up to my blissed out brain. Looking at Vincenzo's face contouring beautifully to express his pleasure, the pleasure I'm giving him- he's beautiful, so beautiful it springs tears in my eyes to look down at him.

The muscles in my thighs ache and I shiver, Vincenzo let out a breathy groan as I met his body once more.
"Do you- do you want me to?" Vincenzo asked, "no." I answered, rolling my hips to meet him and a blissed out groan left his mouth and I leaned down pressing kisses on his face.

I throw on one of Vincenzo's shirts after my shower, when I return the bed sheets have been replaced and the windows opened to clear the stench of a night well spent.
Vincenzo even lit candles, his room filled up with the gentle scents of lavender and honey.

I climbed back on to the bed and pressed my head in the nape of his neck, peppering the hickies I'd left there with light kisses.

"You're like a vampire." Vincenzo said and I laughed, I opened my mouth wide and pressed my teeth lightly to his neck.
"Enzie?" I asked, reaching out for his hand as we both laid there, basking in the glow of our previous love making.

"Are you okay?" I asked as I drew small circles on his palm.

In the past month I've managed to replace all of Vincenzo's medication.
The anti-psychotics were gone and so were the anti-depressants.

All that was left were sugar pills manipulated to look like the ones there before.

Within the first week, Vincenzo was already acting differently.
Even though he told me he'd pick me up after work, I'd often have to call him and ask where he is only to find out that he'd forgotten.

He was also absent during conversations now. Which was fine because I could just look AT him all day and still be satisfied.

Over the weeks, his inattentive nature only got worse. I started seeing him less and less often and when I did he was covered in bruises.

"I think someone is tampering with my medication." Vincenzo says very clearly, his eyes filled with suspicion. But I couldn't tell just yet where that suspicion was pointed to.
"What? Who would do that?"
"I don't want to say, you're going to think I'm crazy." Vincenzo said running long and thick fingers through even thicker curly dark brown hair.

"I'm not, baby." I sit on his hips in a position reminiscent of our earlier activities.
"Swear?" Vincenzo asked with these soft dark brown eyes that I wanted to coo at.
"Swear."

"Remember the people with the veins I told you about?" Vincenzo asked and I nodded eagerly waiting for him to continue.
"They don't want me to take my medication." Vincenzo said in a hushed tone.
"Why not?"
"Because then I won't see them anymore."

"Why do you need to see them?" I asked, happiness bloomed in my chest as I was invited into the never ending Forest that was Vincenzo's mind. He was holding me by the hand and leading me to everything. Everything that made Vincenzo, Vincenzo and I couldn't wait.

"Because I need to save them." Vincenzo said. "I'm the only one who can save them, but everytime I try- well Everytime, I do try to save them, people get hurt and then everyone gets upset with me and before I know it I'm in a psych ward for an evaluation."

"What do they need to be saved from enzie?"
I was careful not to say who because I already know it's not a 'who' I know exactly what Vincenzo thought was out there attempting to harm.

"I can't say." Vincenzo said in a hushed tone.
I know why he can't say but if I say it, then he'll be suspicious. I don't need Vincenzo being driven away from me because of his suspicion. I wanted to beacon him closer by participating in his psychosis.

"Oh... You don't trust me?" I asked and Vincenzo shook his head frantically.
"No- no- it's not that. It's not."
