Chapter 3

Lisa chuckled nervously and in shyness, she felt softness from that small hand clasping her own.

"Nice name." Lisa said trying to take her hand back but it was like Jennie's hand was gripping hers, not to the point that it hurts though.

Jennie hummed replying a "Yours too." before letting go of Lisa's hand.

Lisa felt awkward, she just met Jennie but it felt like her heart can't calm down just by looking at her.

"How about we go out of here?" Lisa suggested breaking the awkwardness.

Suddenly a woman walked closer, she saw the situation in front but acted like it was nothing and just a normal sight to see. Upon reaching them, the woman called Jennie.

"Boss, you're just here. We need to go now, your meeting will start in an hour."

"Wait.. boss? Are you the one they called lady boss?"

Jennie looked back at Lisa for a while before nodding as an answer.

Lisa was shocked, so she just saved the lady boss and Seulgi said this boss was also looking for someone to offer a job, wow is this fate?

"You must be the one who saved our boss and with that, I personally thank you!" the woman said giving Lisa a bow, from her stand it looks like she's an assistant or right hand of Jennie.

Lisa waved her hands seeing the woman giving her a bow. "Hey! No need to bow, it's okay. Anyone would save someone from any kind of situation if they can and that's what I did."

"Still, I thank you!"

"Hoyeon, take care of them." to break out Lisa from awkwardness, Jennie ordered pertaining to the unconscious men in the ground. The woman called Hoyeon gave her a bow before calling their own men who were now guarding the place to take the unconscious men.

They quickly obliged and with that, the unconscious men were carried out of the place.

Lisa was quiet as she watched what's happening in front, she was amused and still in shock knowing she just saved the well known lady boss.

"How about you give me your number? I will personally thank you by inviting you out." Jennie said, breaking Lisa's trance.

"Oh no it's okay. You don't have to invite me out to thank me, it's okay."

"Please? I really appreciate your help and with that I will invite you for a thank you." Jennie showed her innocent look.

Both Lisa and Hoyeon were shocked seeing that. Lisa was told this lady boss was cold but she was far from a cold boss. Hoyeon was more shocked for this was the first time she witnessed their boss acting like this.

Far from the cold and emotionless aura she's showing around.

Lisa can't deny that cute and innocent look, in the end she gave her number to Jennie and was told that, Jennie will eventually call her when she has time, of course she has time for her.

Lisa was not hoping or maybe she is slightly hoping for the woman to send her a text or maybe even a call then that would be better.

After a small talk, Lisa excused herself since her friend was already waiting for her for a long time. She said goodbye to the two before walking away from them who's eyes keep on watching her back.

"Boss, is that her?" Hoyeon said, realizing the blond woman was the one her boss just send her to get any information about.

Jennie hummed, her eyes still on the now empty corridor then a grin showed up from her luscious lips.
