In the next morning, Chiba prepared his breakfast and took a bath before going to school.
At the lobby in the dorms, he saw Kitou standing alone at the entrance, waiting for someone.
Out of curiousity, he called her, and asked.
"Goodmorning Kitou! What are you doing here?"
"Hm? Oh, its you, Chiba. Goodmorning too. I'm waiting for you."
"Is that so? But why?" Kitou tilted her head out of confusion then asked.
"Huh...? Isn't that what friends always do? They're waiting each other and go to their classroom together?"
".....? I see...."
Chiba more or less understood the current situation and he decided to not dwell to that matter anymore.
What Kitou said is not entirely wrong, but not correct either.
Friends will definitely wait each other and go together wherever they go, but that only applies to those really close ones, the ones who has already atleast a month since their friendship start.
That kind of knowledge isn't available to Kitou, thus she's lacking of common sense.
Chiba, a person who is good at reading between the lines, understood the situation very well.
[Let's just think that she's a kind of person who easily attached to someone, but I wonder what kind of place did Kitou grew up for her to become like that. Her lack of common sense is not normal.]
Not too long, they arrived at their classroom, and sat at their respective seats.
The class goes smoothly and nothing major happens until the bell rang, signing that the class is already over, and the start of break time.
Chiba was about to invite Kitou to eat together with him at the cafeteria, but it seems that she already has a plan so he decided to keep his invitation by himself.
He sighed as he looked slightly disappointed.
[I guess I'll eat by myself. Kitou might be doing something important so lets not bother her for now.]
When Chiba was about to gave up, a light of hope appeared in front of him.
It was Taketatsu.
"Chiba-kun, isn't?" She asked while smiling brightly at him.
"Yes....? Umm.... Do you need something from me?"
