Week has already passed after that incident.
Right now, Chiba and Kitou are currently eating together at the cafeteria.
The news about on what happened at the end of club fair, spread quickly like a wild fire, thus they've received a lot of stare from the staffs and students in the past days, but that doesn't took long and things started to calmed down.
Normally, the attention they've received is very uncomfortable for a normal people, but those two are different.
They doesn't mind it at all and remain unfazed all the time.
After Kitou protected Chiba from his older sister, Shiina composed herself, and leave the gymnasium without saying anything.
She, herself, knew that if she make a ruckus, her image as a student council president will be destroyed.
Thanks to that, since there's nothing major happened at the gymnasium, the news about the club fair disappear quickly like a bubble.
At the surface, Chiba let his sister do whatever she wants to him as to not make the situation more complicated, but deep inside, his true intention is to destroy his older sister's image in front of the first years.
In that way, Chiba will hold an advantage for the whole first year and might control them by his own will, but unfortunately, Kitou interfere.
The fact that Kitou can't understand him fully is proven by her actions so even Chiba didn't become successful on his plans for his older sister, he still gains something by confirming Kitou's situation whether she'll be an enemy in the future or not.
Chiba is abnormally paranoid so he doesn't trust anyone at all and Kitou is not an excemption.
But that doesn't mean he wouldn't trust someone, maybe after a year, and that wouldn't be easy to gain Chiba's trust.
While the two of them are eating, Kitou notice something that pique her interest.
Since it will satisfy her curiousity and will increase her understanding to the person named, Chiba Shouya, she then asked,
"Why are you not eating the shirmp in your plate?"
"Hm? Oh! Because they are disgusting and I don't like the taste. Is there something wrong with that? If you want, you could have my shrimp."
"But they are tasty though. If it's really okay to you, then I'll take your offer." She picked the shrimps on his plate using her chopsticks and put it on her as she ask another question, "If you don't like the taste, then that's understandable, but why do you think the shrimp are disgusting? Is it because of their appearance?"
Chiba shook his head as reply.
"Then why?"
"Because if you compare them here in dry lands, shrimps are like cockroaches."
