04 : We meet again

And the door opened, revealing Rose who had no expression on her face, making y/n even more anxious. She had a rush of extreme guilt in her veins. Her heart skipped a beat when she saw no expression on her face.

Y/n: *in a soft whisper* Rose~
Rose: Why are you here? *she says in a stern tone*

Tears started to develop in y/n's eyes, she was speechless, she knew what to say, but she wasn't able to speak which she herself didn't know why, words were not able to make their way out of y/n's mouth, that's why instead of speaking, she immediately hugged Rose, she cried in her arms.
Rose's eyes widened when she felt y/n's arms around her waist and y/n's tears on her chest.

Rose: Y/n ahh? Everything alright? What happened? *she says softly*
Y/n: *crying* Ro-rose I missed y-you s-so much! I am sorry!!

Rose's eyes soften when y/n says that, tears start developing in her eyes but she controls herself from crying, she hugs y/n back and places her head in the crook of her neck, inhaling her scent which she missed so much.

Rose: Don't be sorry honey, hmm? Come inside, let me feed you.
Y/n: *breaks hug* But aren't you angry from me?

Rose: I was a little, but now that you're back, I am not anymore. Also, forcing someone to love you and then when they reject you, you get angry from them is just dumb, and I realized that now.
Y/n: But Rose I lov-
Rose: *places her index finger on Y/n's lips* shh, come inside, we'll talk inside. Also, let's calm ourselves first, ok?
Y/n: *gulps* o-okay, as you say so.
Rose: *smiles* yes, come in! It's been a while since we met.
Y/n: y-yeah *awkwardly smiles*

Y/n felt even more guilty because Rose was acting so sweet with her, she expected her to shout on her. On the other hand Rose was happy y/n was back.

Rose: *places her hand on y/n's shoulder* Make yourself comfortable y/n ahh, I'll get your favorite cupcakes. *goes in the kitchen*

Y/n was a little shocked to see Rose like that because Jennie had told her Rose wasn't in a good condition. Y/n sits on the couch and starts overthinking.

Y/n: *in mind* Jennie had told me that Rose was going through depression, but she doesn't look sad even a little bit. Wait, is she hiding her anger and sadness? Or has she moved on from me because of which she is happy now? Is she seeing someone else? No no no!

Y/n's thoughts get interrupted in between when Rose comes with the cupcakes.

Rose: Y/n ahh, see I made these cupcakes a few hours ago only, so you came on the right time! What a coincidence!
Y/n: *smiles* Yeah!

Rose serves y/n the cupcakes and sits beside her, y/n had the urge to place her head on Rose's shoulder and cuddle with her but she controlled herself.

Rose: So y/n ahh, how have you been?
Y/n: I love you.
Rose: What?
Y/n: Huh?
Rose: I asked how are you.
Y/n: I am f-fine hehe *awkwardly smiles*
Rose: O-oh *smiles awkwardly and takes a bite of her cupcake* I thought-
Y/n: *cuts her* So how are you?!
Rose: *gulps cupcake bite* I am absolutely fine *smiles*
Y/n: oh nice.
Rose: yeah

*awkward silence*

Rose: uhh, so how- I mean why did you suddenly leave?
Y/n: Oh I was missing mom and dad a lot so I left for some time.
Rose: Hmm, I can understand, so how are they?
Y/n: They're fine *smiles*
Rose: Nice. Oh and by the way I have decided that I won't attend college anymore.
Y/n: Whaeyo?
Rose: C'mon, I have such a nice job and now I am financially stable so I dropped out from college, anyways it was of no use, and after all I am doing my dream job!
Y/n: You got a point, you know I was thinking of doing the same.
Rose: Leaving college?
Y/n: Yeah, I am happy with this job.
