“Are you sure you’re gonna drive alone?” This is Cielo on the phone.

“Yeah, don’t worry about me Ciel. I’m a big girl now.” Of course we’re twins.

I am here alone in the bar tonight. After the scene earlier with Zy, I’m quiet sad. Ayoko mang ipahalata, but it really hurts. Ciel’s still not quite aware of what’s happening between Zy and me, she just knew that I have a thing with Zy. Ayoko lang mag alala pa sya masyado and I don’t think it’s necessary for her to know the details, especially now that we’re…uhm…over. Because technically, we haven’t started in the first place. I never had her heart. And that’s it, that’s why I am here, drinking alone.

“Xera, I can pick you up later. Just tell me where you are, I’ll go there…” Ciel’s voice is so sweet when it comes to me. Funny how she bully and throw pranks at me for almost every time, but for a sister, she’s so perfect when it comes to protecting me.

“Ciel, promise I’ll be fine. I’ll bring myself home later. Don’t worry too much. Gosh, you really are babying me.” I chuckled and I heard she her sigh on the other line.

“Alright then, please come home not later than 12 midnight.”

“What? Ciel I am not your baby Cinderellla!”

“Oops, that’s final.” She said.

“Fine mother! Just make sure I’ll see you at home too. We’re talking about our condo unit. We have agreed on one rule bringing any take home guys or gals at home is prohibited. Maybe that’s the reason Cielo always chooses to spend the night outside.

She chuckled on the other line. “Alright baby.” Oh yeah, she calls me baby and I call her ‘baby’ too sometimes when I am in the mood. “Don’t drink too much and drive home safely.”

After two hours of drinking cocktails and turning down a dozen of guys, I decided to go outside. I sit on my car hood while looking at ramdom strangers walking along the streets.

Parang tangang napatawa kapag kuwan. Natatawa ako dahil para akong nagdadasal ngayon.

“What’s wrong with me?” I asked looking at the dark sky above. “Bakit hindi nila ako pinipili…” At malungkot akong napayuko. Somehow, I know this won’t be permanent. But tonight, I think I need to go home.

“Xera…” I heard a familiar voice.

Napatingin ako sa pinag mulan ng tinig. “Grey? Oh you’re here.”
