𝙘𝙝𝙖𝙥𝙩𝙚𝙧 3

Tiffany walked around the island alone, all of the older boys had gone to explore whilst the little kids stayed by the beach playing in the sand.

she felt dirty,she had sand and dirt in her nails, her shiny hair was matted and she already knew she must smell in this scorching weather.

It was at that moment when jack saved her life once again, not to the same extent but..

"I FOUND WATER."

Jack began to run to the nearest person which happened to be Tiffany who was now perched on a rock.
"TIFFANY, YOU NEED TO COME TAKE A LOOK!"
"Calm down jack, what's up?"

"I found fresh water!"

"Your kidding?"
Tiffany jumped off the rock as Jack grabbed her wrist, practically dragging her through the jungle till they reached the water.

The land surrounding the water was rocks and vines, caves surrounding them but the water was crystal clear.

They both wasted no time, jack slid off his shorts and dived in expertly.

Tiffany threw off her shirt and skirt and slid into the water. 

"How did you find this place?"

"Oh you know me, I have my ways." Jack winked at her, his usual smirk plastered across his face. God, what she would do to wipe that perfect smirk off.

She swam along by the rocks till she reached a waterfall and began washing her hair in it, immediately feeling cleaner.

"So, where were you heading sweetheart?"

"my uncles, for a break."

"Well I was heading on a school trip with the military."

"Jack.."

"Yeah sweetheart?"

"I didn't ask."

Tiffany began to wheeze as she laughed at her own joke, splashing around in the water as she struggled to catch her breathe in a fit of giggles.

"you bitch.."
Jack muttered under his breathe, running his hands through his wet locks.

"Ah, morning Ralph!" Tiffany chirped as she walked along the beach,Simon following closely behind her as he clutched onto his lizard. "Morning Tiff!" Ralph nodded in her direction, piggy wheezing violently behind him as he struggled to keep up with Ralph who was striding along the beach, shouting orders to the kids as they began to appear from their huts.

"Hey Simon, where are we going?"

They began to reach the end of the island, quite a fair walk from camp.

"I found this when I was exploring, it's another beach and it's much quieter, I enjoy it here. The Nature is still untouched by humans, unlike the other side." Simon showed Tiffany the view as they could see all the way out at sea, it was beautiful.

They lay back on the sand and started up at the sky, chatting amongst themselves.

"So Simon, tell me about the others."

"Well there's samneric, they're rarely seen apart, easily excitable. They're jokes aren't the best, but you laugh anyway to make them smile."

Tiffany waved her hands to let him proceed.

"Then there's piggy, he really is bright but I think many people find him annoying, he's just a rational person."

she nodded, it made sense why people found piggy annoying though, especially stuck here on an island with nowhere to escape his constant yapping about things that really aren't all that important while stuck with barely anywhere to go to the bathroom.

"Then there is Roger.." he lowered his voice, it seemed like he was afraid the boy may hear them. "Him and Jack are very close, they've been like that since.. well since the incident."

"What incident?"

"Oh I don't know, it's not really my place to say.."

"Cmon Simon, tell me!"

"Oh alright.. A few years ago, Roger's father was murdered, to make matters worse it was the woman he was secretly having an affair with who killed him. The whole family were in pieces, Roger completely shut himself off after that and jack was the only person he seemed to tolerate. I don't really know why, but Jack was a good friend to Rodger. No matter how much you despise the boy, you must admit he did everything for that boy when he was struggling."

Tiffany suddenly understand why Roger was so messed up.

"And, well he's never been the same since. I mean sure, Jack brought that cockiness back but I haven't seen him crack a smile in a long time."

Tiffany felt, almost sorry for Rodger and she began to see Jack in a new light,I mean sure.. he was a pain in her ass but he really cared about the people that he loved.

"Ralph has always been a leader, he takes charge any time he gets the chance and is one of the highest ranked boys at our school, he's proud of that."

"And jack?"

Simon sighed, he was a smart boy and he already knew that something had sparked in Tiffany that made her want to know more about what was behind those beautiful blue eyes, like every girl jack merridew dates.

"Oh well, Jack is definitely a character. He's always been quite cocky, head of the rugby team, he doesn't really have much emotion to show, kind of a closed book."

She nodded, that was pretty obvious.

Tiffany was playing with one of the littleuns, Peter when the sound of the conch could be heard.

"Miss, can you carry me please my legs are tired." he sighed as he pulled on the hem of her skirt, he clearly saw her as a motherly figure and she was okay with that. These kids deserved to feel secure, even if the older ones didn't.

Tiffany picked him up and he began to play with her shiny brown locks which had become drastically lighter due to the amount of sun she was soaking up each day.

"Ah finally, here they are!"

All heads turned to Tiffany and a now sleeping Peter in her arms as she walked up the beach.
"Oh shut up Ralph, do you know how long it takes to walk from one side of the island to another with a child in your arms?" he didn't reply. "Exactly, that's what I thought so may I sit down now?" she snapped and he immediately nodded.

She gently placed Peter on her lap as squirmed for a minute before falling limp again. She took the opportunity to scan the group and noticed Simon, giving him a gentle smile before turning and seeing Roger. Roger had his back turned away, grunting as he stabbed at something with his sharpened spear.

the meeting felt like it went on forever, it consisted of Ralph talking about how he would be started a fire watch after him,piggy and Simon had started the fire this morning snd we would each take turns, he didn't get a positive response to that.

"Okaybefore you go one more thing."

everyone groaned in unison, tiffany rolled her eyes which was caught by jack who gave a half smirk at her antics, she was very aware he didn't like ralph and was probably jealous at the authority he had.
"So the first fire watch is tonight, I want Jack and Tiffany, okay?"

"No not okay, I want my sleep!"

"Well, your apart of a team so your going to have to pitch in."

Jack sauntered over to her as the boys began to break off. "Don't worry, you can always sleep with me."

this had to be some kind of cruel prank.
