"Stop it!" Piggy cried as Rodger laughed, holding them up to the sky as he towered over the short, stubby boy. Henry laughed as he stood close to Rodger, admiring his cruelty as if it was something to be proud of.

"For gods sake, would you stop doing that to him?" Tiffany rolled her eyes as she marched over to Rodger. "Give 'em back." "Why he's just a prick?" "So are you, but you don't see me walking around taking your spear do you?" Tiffany gave him a cold stare. "No, because if i found you I would stab you right in the eyes until you bled to death, terribly painful." Rodger didn't even raise an eyebrow at what he just said, seeming completely unbothered.

"You seriously need to-" Tiffany's retaliation was shortly lived as a sudden blonde appeared behind her and Rodger dropped the glasses. "Everything alright?" Jack didn't seem to mind the teasing, he only came over here when he noticed a fired-up Tiffany. "Yeah mate, just having a chat with piggy, ain't that right Tiff?" "Dickhead." Piggy took the opportunity to grab his glasses that were now covered in grains of the white sand and run back to Ralph, well run was a push.. it was more of a fast walk.

"Hey, I need to show you something." Jack turned to Tiffany, eyes sparkling like the ocean that lay peacefully next to them. "Sure, bye Henry!" "Bye Tiff!" He replied happily until Rodger gave him a shove.

"Where are we going?" Tiffany questioned as Jack led them through what felt like a maze of a jungle, rotting fruit covering the floor like a stain that wouldn't wipe away  whilst the branches flew at them, clawing at their faces.

"Here!" Jack pulled her arm gently, pushing her infront of him as he swiftly guided her through the vines, his arms clinging to her shoulders.

He smiled proudly as Tiffany gasped at the sight of a smallish patch of grass on the opposite side of the island; covered in an array of tropical flowers, each vibrant and beautiful.

TIFFANYS POV:

"Oh Jack, it's beautiful how on earth did you find this place?" I asked, running my hands across the colourful petals of each flower as I stared in amazement. "Oh, I was strolling looking for some pigs and here you have it." He placed his hand in mine and we both sat down on the sunburnt grass that was now a shade of lime green, not like the vibrant green they have back home. I couldn't help but stare at him, he was slowly becoming less of an ass.

His fair had grown lighter in the sun, his blue eyes always had that spark in them; the ones I had grown fond off. His hands were always soft, and he always felt warm. I couldn't help but feel safe around him now that I knew him; I had judged the boy i once suspected to be a complete dick.

"Listen, so i brought you here to speak to you." Jack coughed, picking at the petals of a tropical flower. Oh god, that never means anything good. "What about?"

"About us." Although it was a conversation I had been dreading, it was a necessary conversation.

"Go on.."

"Well, I think it's clear we aren't just friends so I was thinking, I mean if your gonna have to put a title over it.. my girlfriend?" I couldn't hold in my laughter that was building up inside of me and began to laugh out loud, causing Jack to flush a violent shade of red. "Right I get it, totally out of li-"

"Shut up Jack Merridew." I smirked, wrapping  my arms around his neck and kissing him.

{an unknown amount of days later}

"Hey sweetheart." Jack popped up next to me as I sat down on a tree trunk. "Hey." I nodded, resting my head on his shoulder tiredly. "Ralph got you running round doing jobs huh?" "Yeah, it's so exhausting." He nodded, his brain visually ticking like clockwork in his head.
"Have you seen Rodger?" "Yeah, he's waiting to go hunting with you, over there." I pointed into the greenery.  "Okay, I had better go then, and if I catch some meat you will be the first to know!" He smirked, disappearing  into the trees.
