It's short, but enjoy :)

"My house or yours?" Ashton asked, looking over at me with a small smile.

School had just ended and we were walking out to his car.

"Your house. Ben and Jack are home and you know how that goes..." I looked away, furiously blushing.

"It's okay, Lukey. I think it's cute when they tease you about liking me." He smirked, opening the passenger door, bowing down and saying, "Princess."

I scrunched up my nose, giggling and rolling my eyes playfully.

I got in, him closing it and jogging around to the other side and hopping in. He started it up, pulling out of the parking space and speeding away.

"So, pizza?"

"Pizza.

"Maybe pizza will be-"

"Shut up, Ashton."

"I'm not sorry."

I laughed, shaking my head and looking out the window. He turned the radio up, Steal My Girl coming on.

I freaked out, hitting my head on the ceiling of the car and slapping his arm, nearly causing us to crash.

"Luke! Calm do-"

"Don't tell me to calm down my babies are singing."

"I'm sorry, don't hurt me."

"It's okay. Now shut up and drive peasant."

"Yes, Princess Lucas."

I glared at him. He knows I hate the use of my full name.

He looked at me with an innocent smile, dimples on full display.

And then I wasn't mad at him anymore because aw his dimples.

And he knows it, too.

We pulled up to a small building, Ashton getting out and running to the other side of the car and opening my door.

"You don't have to do that." I gave him an appreciative smile.

"I know. But I want to." He smiled, grabbing my hand and skipping towards the building while chanting something about pizza.

As we stood to the side, waiting for our pizza, people began to stare. Ashton was drawing attention with his consistent chanting about pizza and non stop bouncing around.

"Ash, stop. People are looking."

He shrugged, saying, " 'm hot. I can't help it."

"True."

"What?"

I choked, "Um, oh. I said.." I trailed off, not knowing what to say, feeling extremely flustered.

"Aw, that's okay Lukey. Don't be embarrassed." He said, pinching my pink cheeks and cooing at my discomfort.

"You two are an adorable couple!" We stopped, turning to look at the person that spoke.

It was an old woman, although she had a mischievous gleam in her eye.

"We're no-"

"Thank you." Ashton said, cutting off my previous words.

She chuckled, smiling again before walking past us and out the door.

"What was that?" I asked, confused.

"Well, she seemed happy. I didn't want to make her sad by saying we're not a couple. When old people are sad, I'm sad. Old people should never be sad. Now come on, our food's ready!"

I grabbed the two boxes of pizza and breadsticks, once again skipping out to his car.

I followed behind him, giggling as he almost tripped over the curb and dropped everything.

I sighed, loosing myself to my thoughts. I seem to do that often, being my overly thoughtful self.

But, the only thing running through my mind was,

I wish we were a couple.
