For the last few minutes we struggled to get our classroom into shape. The downpour of rain started again, attacking the windows loudly outside.
"Watch it!"
I looked away from the window, as the contents of somebody's desk split across the room. Mack stood above the mess angrily.
"I've had enough of you!" Mack stepped over the fallen pencils and binders towards Koen. Koen stiffened but didn't step back. The chatter around the classroom slowly died down.
Mack glared at Koen for a few seconds then went to clean up his stuff.
"What happened?"
I leaned over and whispered to Charles.
"I have no idea." He murmured.
Eventually the desks, chairs and other bits of furniture were cleared away to the sides of the wall. I scanned the room, I don't know what I thought would happen, a bunch of beads just appearing? Ha. No.
"What are we going to use as beds?"
Mr. Cathler spun around, "Great question. Everyone may I have your attention." It wasn't a question it was a statement. "Ok, so. The school has emergency blankets for each and everyone of you."
Aly nodded and bent down to pick up some crayons scattered across the floor, I leaned down as well.
Mr. Caethler gave me a stern look and I paused.
"One more thing I forgot to mention. Boys and girls will be separated. Girls in this room, 101, and boys across the hall, room 104. The other class has done the same as you and cleared out their room."
Aly let out a long sigh, "Aw, man. If the boys and girls are going to be separated that means we'll probably get her as our supervisor."
'Her' is Ms. Godly.
We have two homeroom teachers for both of our two classes. The two homeroom teachers are Mr. Caethler and Ms Godly.
Ms Godly is a woman so we're stuck with her. She's also an evil teacher, bonus points for doing math class.
Almost on cue she walked in, a forced smile across her face. Cup of coffee in hand and sharp eyes that are always watching over you.
I grimaced at Charles who shrugged, eyebrows raised.
