Our wedding was like a fairy tale, even when I think back on it or look at the photos, it doesn't seem real. We stuck to tradition and made sure we didn't see each other the night before. That was awful, we were able to text each other but I felt empty without Henry. Even though I had been apart from him numerous times, whenever he was off filming something, knowing he was close by and I couldn't see him was a killer. How I managed to get any sleep, was beyond me.

The wedding was set for the afternoon so having the morning to get ready was a good distraction and my bridal party did a good job of keeping me distracted too. Henry had sent me a good morning text and how he couldn't wait to marry me - that made the butterflies in my stomach go nuts. I'd somehow managed to eat something for breakfast, despite the nerves and anxiety getting the better of me. The odd glass of champagne may have helped too.

Things became real and the nerves grew stronger when everyone's hair and make-up was done, dresses were on, shoes were on, jewellery was on and the bouquets had arrived. As well as when it was time to check I had my something old, something new, something borrowed and something blue - my mother had given me the something old to wear, Henry had surprised me with new jewellery via his mother, who had given me something to borrow and my bridal party provided the something blue.

We'd planned the wedding together, with Henry being in charge of arranging the cars - the same style of Bentley he'd hired the day he'd proposed. We'd planned the wedding to be at the manor house where we'd met, with the ceremony to be held on the grounds and then the reception to be held inside the manor house, in the beautiful ballroom. I spent the drive to the ceremony trying to calm my breathing and keep my tears at bay. I thought I'd succeeded until I got ready to walk up the aisle. The bridal party had already made their way up and now it was my turn. As soon as the music started and the doors opened for me to make my appearance, my breathing became short and wavering and then seeing Henry at the end of the aisle, set my tears off. He had Kal sitting next to him, as his best man, looking adorable in his bow tie. The walk up the aisle felt like it was so slow, I was slowly making my way towards my man, who I could see also had tears falling down his cheeks along with the biggest smile ever. When I was finally able to stand opposite him, he whispered a hi to me and gently wiped the tears from my face, I replied back and did the same, feeling him lean in slightly to my hand as I wiped his tears away.

The words spoken by the celebrant sounded like they were being mumbled, as I could not concentrate on anything but Henry - only taking notice when it was time to say our vows. This was yet another cue for the tears - both of us had tears brimming in our eyes as we expressed our undying love and our lives to each other, in front of those we cared for. When the words 'You may now kiss the bride' were finally uttered, it was best feeling in the world. Henry and I both grinning from ear to ear before leaning into each other to share our first kiss as husband and wife. Any feeling of nerves, fluttering of butterflies in my stomach, all disappeared at that moment. However, fresh happy tears made their way down my cheeks, as Henry kissed my temple and said I love you. I looked up at him and kissed him, as my way of saying 'I love you' back as I was unable to get the words out.

With the important part of the way, the photos were next. The guests were kept interested with drinks and canapes while the bridal party were made to pose for what felt like forever for hundreds of photos. The photographer was intent on getting us to pose for some of the photos as well as trying to get photos of us acting naturally. We did the best we could to do what was asked, when all we wanted to do was get to the reception and party the night away with our nearest and dearest.

'Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome the most gorgeous married couple ever - Mr and Mrs Cavill!' I loved hearing that come from the MC as we were introduced at the reception, although being called gorgeous made me blush - a tiny part of me assumed he was only referring to Henry when he said the gorgeous part. I remember my smile faltered slightly, just as Henry turned to look at me, he knew I would have thought too much about the gorgeous comment and squeezed my hand as a way of reassurance. Seeing all of our guests standing and applauding us as we made our way to our table, also made me blush, the sudden realisation that all eyes were on us made me begin to feel anxious. Kal had walked into the room with us too, and nuzzled his way between the two of us when we sat down.

The rest of the night seemed to flash by so fast, one minute we were starting our entrees, then the next thing I knew, we were finishing our first dance together. Before I knew it, the speeches had been done, the cake had been cut and dessert had been served. The one thing I do remember is how sore my feet were by the end of the night - I had to take my shoes off, I couldn't walk properly with them on after all the walking I'd done mingling with the guests and then all the dancing I had wanted to do. I was so glad we were spending our wedding night at the manor too as it meant I didn't have to go far when the reception ended.

I stupidly thought I could party all night but once the excitement of the day began to wear off, I hit the wall and couldn't stop yawning, spending more and more time resting my head against Henry's shoulder and less and less time dancing. I have no memory of when we were finally able to head up to our room, I was exhausted, as was Henry. We ended up falling asleep naked, but wrapped up in each other's arms, it was a good thing we had as Kal had decided to claim the end of the bed, spreading his large body across our legs - there was no chance of any sex happening with that big fluff ball being on the bed with us!
