Since the Otome game has mana and other mythical beings, it's a fantasy one. The game is a mix of the victorian age and the 21st century, but it has some other mythical beings because the creators wanted it to have more special events, like one time when the FL took in a cat. It was actually the crown prince of a beast-kingdom. He fell in love with her, but she never found out about his feelings.
