010-Leaving for A Trip

Justin pulls up to the house that I gave him the address of.

Luckily people were there but it looked like they were loading stuff into the car.

"Thanks Justin, I appreciate it. Don't let them spam me okay? I'll keep you updated."

"You're welcome and thanks but...what should I say? Where should I tell them I dropped you off?"

"Say we ran into my family at the boba shop and that they are touring different states and that they wanted to know if I wanted to join them." I said getting out and closing the door.

"See ya." We both said.

I walked up the driveway and stood by the open trunk. Right when I pull up for a surprise visit...they just gonna leave me..?

"Ayo who's that over by the trunk? We can't be having our stuff stolen again!" I heard a voice yell and run to the back of the car.

"Wait. You? What the heck are you doing here? Why didn't you call?" He asked engulfing me in a hug.

"Good to see you too then I guess." I said hugging back.

"Well your the one that didn't call."

"I wanted it to be a surprise visit...I'm sorry." I said frowning.

Just then another voice yelled over. "What's taking so long? Our stuff is still there right?"

I hold my hand over my mouth, I'm attempting to not laugh.

"Uhh you better come over and see for yourself." My friend said.

Just then I see the blonde hair of my close childhood friend. "What?! It's you!! You're here!!! Why didn't you call!?"

"I asked her the same exact thing!"

"I missed you guys so much!" I said hugging them both again.

"We missed you more but uh...we're about to be leaving."

"Yea I noticed that by the excessive amount of stuff in the trunk. Ghost equipment? Samuel...are you going ghost hunting without me!?"

"No..."

"Yes."

"Colby!" Sam scolded.

"I'm sorry I can't lie! You know how much she loves coming along!"

"It's true. I do love it! Where y'all going this time?"

"Colby and I are leaving tonight for West Virginia. Seth's coming along with Nate too. But they have a later flight."

"Seth going too? Ooh can I come please!?"

"You don't even know where we're going." Colby laughed.

"West Virginia. Duh."

"But where the haunted location is actually at..?" Sam asked.

"You didn't get that far."

"Well...looks like you didn't prepare for a trip so...looks like you can't go..." Sam frowns.

"No! I can totally go! I'll just get some shopping done! I can go tonight! I promise."

"Yea? How exactly do you plan on getting to WV then?"

"I'll take a flight. Just like you guys."

"Our flight is booked." Colby gestures to him and Sam.

"I can try Seth's flight."

"Oh yeah? What if we don't want you to? Are you sure you're up for it?" Colby asked.

"Are you sure you can handle private time with a crush?"

"Oh please...I'm totally not crushing anymore." I scoff.

"Who's not crushing?" A new voice asked, came from behind me.

I froze. "Oh hey Seth. We were just talking about how she's going to be joining us on our adventure.." Colby stated.

What...

"Well turn around. Don't be rude! You were just gushing about how excited you were.." Sam chuckled.

Thanks for throwing me under the bus, Sam. I'll remember that...I'll get you back.

I turned around. "H-hey Se-Seth. How y-ya been?"

"I've been alright and you?"

"I've been alright."

"That's good. So your coming along with us huh?"

"Heh um yes I am. I just have to go...shopping. Get some things."

"Ah cool. I'll take ya. I was gonna head out and get some stuff myself."

"Are you sure? I don't wanna be a bother."

"It's totally cool. Plus I have to swing by Nate's and get the gear."

"Isn't he going to bring it tomorrow?" Sam asked.

"He would...but he had a family emergency come up tonight. So he won't be coming to WV. That's what I was coming out to tell you before."

"So Nate's ticket is just..done with?" Colby asked.

"No. Not since she's coming along." Seth smiled.

"Alright well...we'll let you guys leave then."

Seth and I walk to his car and get in.

guys. I know I say this all the time but OMG chapter 10 already???

I didn't think I would make it in this book.

Plus the amount of reads that I have? Holy cow!! Thank you guys for that much support!!!!!

But I feel like the support is gonna slowly lessen as I continue to write.

My reasoning for saying that...because I'm adding characters who weren't even apart of the storyline...the original one at least.

Reason 2 being...because I'm kind of changing the storyline. With the addition of adding Seth, Sam, Colby and possibly Katrina...

Reason 3 being I'm thinking of changing the title of the story. Along with the description. Seeing as it doesn't entirely make sense anymore. But I just don't know what to change it to.
