Regie, Oliver, and I finally get into the car and make our way to the aquarium.
Regie was in the passenger seat and asked if he could have the Aux. Which of course, Oliver didn't like.
"Oli, you can have Aux as well as the front seat in the way back okay? I promise!" I smile at him when we were at a red light.
"Okay I'll wait."
We finally make it to the parking garage, and make our way up the stairs to the aquarium entrance.
Once we walk through security we scan our tickets and make our way down the escalator.
(The way the aquarium is described in this story is based off MY local aquarium. Unfortunately the Wattpad app is bugging and freezes my app when I try to add pictures.)
As we were in the first viewing area I caught myself looking at a bright yellow fish surrounded by other fish of a different color.
"Aw Oli look at this little cutie!" I say grabbing Olivers hand and pointing to it.
"Aw hes adorable!" Oli giggles with me.
"Hey guys check this out!" Regie calls from the other side.
We walk over to the tank with Regie and he points to a pufferfish. "It's Mrs. Puff!" He laughs.
"Oh Reggie, your such a goofball."
Next we made our way to the viewing area of the Shark Rays. This is one of my most favorite parts to go to because Denver the turtle frequents that side of the tank.
Denver is one of my favorites to see! (At my aquarium there is this turtle named Denver, he has been there since I was a little kid!!)
"Maybe Denver is on the other side of the tank, towards the end?" Regie suggested after noticing I was staring to long.
"Promise?" I asked him.
"Yes, if we don't see him I will buy you the biggest turtle plushie the aquarium has." He pinky promises.
"Yay!" I smile widely.
"Alright next part?" Oli asks.
Next we made our way to a room that had baby seahorses, a few smaller tanks, and a big tank that held the fish that they make caviar out of.
(Believe me or not my aquarium has bunches. They make caviar out of those specific fishes eggs.)
"Ew that's kinda weird!" I giggled.
"Too adorable." Oli laughs taking my hand leading me away to find Regie.
"Oli those fish are NOT adorable at all!"
"I was talking about you." He says squeezing my hand slightly, to not get lost.
We finally found Reg around the corner at the ginormous tank that held two albino alligators, named Snowball and Snowflake. The same gigantic tank that used to hold the huge alligator they once called Mike.
"Look at those dudes!" Regie cackles pointing at the two in the water.
"Aw, they are actually kind of cute when not trying to attack you." I coo at the gators.
Next we ventured off onto where you can pet stingrays. They also had a dry tank with a big lizard!
We were getting closer to the other side of the huge tank that had the shark rays and Denver, along with some others.
As we found that tank I looked all over for him, I could find him and I was growing sad. He's been there ever since my childhood, I couldn't bare to see him gone.
We were making it to the end and getting ready to pet some tiger sharks when I look up...and I saw Denver! I was happy!
"Regie look! Lookie!! Aww! Oli look!! He's so cute! Guys look it's Denver!" I pointed and showed them my favorite turtle.
"Shes so excited it's adorable." I heard Regie whisper.
"I agreed dude." Replied Oliver.
"Penguin time?" I asked
"Penguin time." We all agreed.
