We finally make our way back to the NSB house. Needless to say they all ran up to me.

"Is Archer still with my parents?" I asked to no one in particular.

"Yea but they were gonna drop him off within the next few hours. They have a dinner party to get ready for. For your dads company." Darren answered.

"K cool." I responded.

"Look, I know you're mad and I g-"

"Mad? MAD? You think I'm MAD? No Darren. I'm absolutely FURIOUS and UPSET that you would even think about CHEATING on me! What kind of low life would even THINK of doing that, especially since they said they loved me so much and wanted to be a father to Archer!" I slightly screamed. I could then feel the tension in the room rising, I knew something was gonna happen.

"Why don't we all just calm down, maybe have a nice drink? A swim? Adopt a dog?" Seb butted in trying to save us all, how sweet.

"Seb...man." Kane patted his shoulder, "not the right time." He added before pulling Seb back a bit.

"Well...let's just say this. At least I'm not like Archer's real father. You and I both know who that is."

"Darren...no." I said trying to stop him.

"What? Don't want me to reveal your little group secret? I'm surprised none of them have caught on, after you told me I wasn't all that surprised...it was quite obvious." Darren said now circling around me.

"Darren, stop. Please. You aren't making anything any better...I beg you...stop."

"NO. IM NOT GONNA STOP! JUST LIKE KANE AINT GONNA STOP BEING A SH*TTY NONEXISTENT FATHER TO ARCHER!" Darren yelled, which to be honest scared half of the group.

"Wow Darren's never yelled like that before." Oliver commented.

"Yea but did he say Kane..?" Regie questioned.

"Kane..?" Ryan asked.

I looked to Kane, and nodded. We knew then what we had to do.

I walked up to where Kane was standing and we faced the rest in the group.

"Yes you heard Darren correctly, Kane is Archer's real dad." I said, my head slightly hung.

"Kane, I don't get it man. You used to alway boast about how cute the kid you saw in the store was, or how bad you really wanted to find a girl and have a kid with her. You had that and you let it go? You're not even a dad to him..." Oliver was the first to speak.

"I know... I-I..I thought I was ready. Because of how excited I was in my past. I couldn't wait. But the day that i found that test...reality actually hit..." Kane said, finally speaking. "I felt so bad after that...I even tried to kick her out of her own apartment...I accused her of cheating because that's how scared I was. I didn't want to believe that Archer was mine.." Kane started to tear up so I lead him to sit down on the couch, and I sat next to him.

I looked around for some tissues..didn't find any.

"Tissues?" Seb asked to which I nodded in response. "On it." Seb ran into the kitchen and got the tissue box, handing it to me.

I thanked him and gave Kane a few.

"It's okay Kane, take your time." I assured him, rubbing my hand along his back, any hope of calming him.

"No...it's not okay. I held that in for so long...I couldn't ever let it out...that I wanted to try."

"Try what?" I asked him.

"I want to try being a father to Archer. A real one this time. I always wanted to ask but I was afraid you wouldn't ever let me." Kane said looking at me, right in the eyes.

The room gasped, then silence filled the room.

"Kane...I would love to have you be Archer's father. But that's a huge commitment, since you are his biological one. That's a heavy commitment Kane, think you can do that?" I asked him.

"Yes. I wanna do it. I will do it! I wanna be there for my son."

"Our son.." I corrected him. "Now don't make me regret this."

"I promise I won't."

Just then the door knocked. "Let me get it." Kane said.

It was my parents dropping off Archer.

"Thank you guys for watching him, I hope he wasn't trouble." I say walking up to the door beside Kane.

"He's never any trouble, never." My father assured me.

"Archer, come here bud!" Kane said getting down in the floor to Archer's level, arms held out for a hug. To which Archer backed up...and ran right to his arms.

It made the whole room awe, well except for Darren the jealous. But that's okay.

I hugged my parents, Kane did as well, and I congratulated my father.

"Thank you, and I see the real family is real big and happy?" He nodded over to Kane.

"Yes...we are. He's ready to be a dad, a real one. He's ready to commit."

"How exciting, don't let her down!" My mom says.

My little sister motions for Kane to bend down again, he does so.

"Listen here you little punk, I may be much younger and shorter than you but I PROMISE I will BEAT TH-"

"Okayyyy sky I think that's enough let's not repeat any words that an 8 year old shouldn't know..." my mother stopped her.

"Yea...it's time for us to go, you all have a good evening alright and behave, no more kids for a while okay?"

"Dad!" I laughed as we closed the door.

After that everyone sort of then separated. Mainly down to the game room.

I went upstairs to help archer unpack his things. "Kane..you coming?"

"Wait really? I'm not dreaming right now?"

"No. This is reality Kane."

"Come on dada!" Archer gets out.

"Okay I'm definitely coming after that!"

We walk upstairs into my room, where archer also has his set up.

He plays with his toys while Kane and I unpack his things.

"What do you say we do something?" Kane looks at me smiling.

"Like what?" I asked curious.

"I'm talking me, you, Archer...a real family."

"What is there to do?" I say now sitting on the bed watching archer play.

"Well there's the beach, the zoo, the aquarium, amusement park, lots of cool places to eat..."

"The zoo sounds fun, but it is getting late... so we should do that tomorrow."

"Alright, we'll how about a beach picnic tonight?"

"Me, you, and archer?"

"Of course, our family."

"I would love to."

"Then it's settled, you leave the planning to me."

Hey guys I'm sorry this is a super long one it's just well over 1200 words by the time I finish this note but I just wanted to thank you all for supporting so far and wanted to let you know that this is NOT the end of the book! I just couldn't find myself to cut the chapter off until I felt it ready, but now it is.
