"You are the devil in human form!" Her words kept ringing in my head.
How could a mother ever say that to her daughter? Well...my mother isn't like every mother.
She's abusive.
If anything she's the devil. But was she telling the truth? Maybe.
I have been a terrible daughter but for her to say those words to me cut deeper than any knife could. Yeah, I may have gone to jail for a few months. Yeah, I might have stolen many things from people. But her job as my mother is to be by my side throughout all of it. And she didn't. She didn't care what happened to me. Just like she didn't care about my dad's death.
I had to take care of my little siblings all by myself. While she was at some bar drinking like there was no tomorrow. I was at home cooking for HER kids and cleaning this filthy house.

My mom kept going back to him even though he abused her and I many times physically and sexually.
