Chapter 1 - Dinner Preparations
"As they recently moved into the house Dave is expecting a visit from the landlord to have dinner with his friends and he offers his sibling to join the dinner arrangement"
January 20, 2022, 6 pm
Dave is making sure that everything is prepared for the dinner meant for the landlord, their landlord named "Max Maximoff" is a 42-year-old larkian and is the richest man in the city because he owns a real estate business and works as a landlord, Dave Drawsker is a 24-year-old Venemian male with red hair who's always trying to do his best and to be a responsible adult as possible, he bought a house from Maximoff with his friends as they all pulled in their money to be able to purchase this house from "Maximoff Real Estate."
The dinner table is covered with a lovely white sheet, a glass vase filled with water with a flower resting inside the vase, everyone is in formal clothing to look professional for their landlord.
"Hey Dave do we really have to look this professional for our visitor because I think this is kind of ridiculous?" Steve mentioned. Steve Sanchez is a 23-year-old hispanic male with orange hair who dreams of becoming a teaching assistant in a school only for Venemians.
"Because it's been our dream to have a house together ever since we were kids and now we finally made our dream come true so I want to make a great first impression for our landlord, ugh where is Cricket she's supposed to be here right now" said Dave as he begins to call Cricket, his older sibling.
Cricket Drawsker is 26-year-old a non-binary lazy Venemian with no care about what happens to them but they aren't opened about being non-binary yet, Dave calls Cricket which interupts them sleeping so they get up and check who's calling, "Ugh what does Dave want?" Cricket answers the phone.
"What is it, control freak? I'm trying to sleep right now" Cricket says in a raspy voice.
"You're sleeping now?! You're supposed to come over for dinner! This is why Mom and Dad kicked you out" Dave complained as Cricket sighed.
"Alright fine I'll get ready, be there in about an hour" Cricket hangs up the phone.
"C'mon Cricket I know you're better than that... she's so lazy I swear to god" Dave said to himself.
"So I'm not going to be here tomorrow because I have a job interview" Steve said in an excited tone.
"What? You're getting a job?! Where?!" Dave was filled with excitement and shock
"I'm actually going to start working as a teaching assistant at Trillindall High" said Steve
"Wait... You mean THE Trillindall High?! Man that's the best school for only Venemians students to get enrolled with and you're getting hired there?!" Dave is still shocked.
"Yeah! I'm actually really excited to start working there. I'm going to work up my experience and hopefully I can become a teacher there!" Steve sets the plates on the table along with napkins.
"That's awesome! I hope you get the job! Anyways I better go check on Dan to see how he's doing with the food" said Dave.
"Alright well I better practice for my interview tomorrow!" Steve walked upstairs to his bedroom.
