"do you reckon it looks fine?"
she glances at you, her jaw drops, "it looks beautiful!"
you smile slightly, "your dress looks so pretty! it looks amazing on you"
she puts her hands on her cheeks nervously.
"let's take some photos and then we can show ron that we can get dates easier than him" you cross your arms, she chuckles slightly.
hermione digs through her trunk, taking out a muggle camera that looked fairly new.
she places the camera on your dresser and turning on the timer and running beside you.
first you both did a regular smiling one, then a silly one and another regular one.
you breathe out, adjusting your hair slightly in the mirror and jumping up and down slightly, "oh, i'm nervous!"
she nods, "so am i. but if we don't go soon we're going to be late"
you nod, taking a big breath in and out and making sure everything looks fine before nodding and taking your leave with hermione.
you both hurry down the halls to the great hall, you both peek out from the wall at everyone.
shaking her arm nervously you both step out.
hermione was wearing a gorgeous ruffled pink and purple floor-length dress and her hair was in a curly ponytail. she also had some simple glitter in the corner of her eyes.
