(3rd P.O.V)
"My Queen..."
"Yes My King?"
"Why would an angel like you betray THEM for me?" The women's lover held his lover's hands and looked at his lover for an answer.
His lover could only let out a soft giggle and kissed her lover's hand. The silence was there for a few seconds until the woman replied.
"My King, is there a reason you need to ask this? Are you insecure about yourself because of how you look?" The women responded. She then look at her lover and was shocked by her lover's response.
Her king, The Shadow Monarch. Nodded his head at her response. She felt saddened by his response, and let go of her lover's hand and gestured for her lover to bend down, in confusion he did. She then held her lover's face and placed a gentle kiss on top of her lover's helmet.
Her lover was shocked and flustered by what happened. He stood up while his lover's arms fell to her sides and she watch what her lover was doing. The shadow monarch then hastily held her close to him, to which she happily wrapped her arms around his back.
He then decided to reply to his lover's question.
"My Angel... To answer your question. Yes. I am insecure about my appearance for you. I'm scared that you may leave me because of my appearance and my powers." The shadow monarch replied. His lover realized the nickname he called her. "My Angel" is used whenever they are serious, so his lover can only frown and give a little huff.
She gets out of his hold and stomped her feet on the ground while her fluffy snowy white wings flapped furiously. Her king could only watch in confusion and amusement. He waited patiently for his angel to calm down her temper so she can respond.
After she calmed down, she flapped her wings and flew toward her lover. Which, ended in both of them crashing into the ground from the impact. The woman sat on her lover's chest and started yelling out many of the things she loves about him.
"You stupid idiot! How dare you say that to yourself! I don't care about your appearance or your powers! I only care about you and your personality! I don't care about THEM! And I don't care about what anyone says!" The woman took a deep breath before continuing.
"You want to know why I love you?! It's because I had admiredyour loyalty to the Absolute Being, even if you got your shadow powers! You're still the same man I fell in love with when I first saw you! Evil or not!"
"I'LL ALWAYS BE WITH YOU KNOW MATTER WHAT HAPPENS! EVEN IF ANYONE TRIES TO STOP THIS FORBIDDEN LOVE! I'LL EVEN SACRIFICE MY LIFE FOR YOU! SO DON'T THINK I'LL LEAVE YOU JUST BECAUSE OF YOUR STUPID APPEARANCE OR POWERS! YOU HEAR ME?!"
The woman now finished, look at her lover with tearful eyes. Her eyebrows her furrowed and she had a frown on her face. That sight made the shadow monarch's black heart ache. He sat up while holding his angel to his chest. They stayed there for a good minute before pulling apart, while the shadow monarch wiped his lover's tears away, he gave her a head pat after. To which she just cuddled herself into his chest plate.
They stayed there for hours, while the angel fell asleep. The shadow monarch stayed the same, hugging and patting his angel's head while watching her sleep peacefully.
"Sweet dreams My Queen. I promise, we'll find a trustworthy vessel for the both of us, then, we'll finally be at peace."
