A boy, so broken, cried his tears

Not knowing how to face his fears

"Why is the world like this?" his mind seemed to race

In his favorite spot, he paced and paced

"I wanna make it better, I wanna make it right."

The boy began to plan his fight

"Music," he thought, "with lyrics of love."

So he wrote and wrote that he'd had enough

In front of the willow tree, Namjoon stood, crying tears he didn't understand. He felt broken. He felt like the world around him was only there to inflict pain and suffering and fear; fear that he himself did not know how to face up to.

"Why is the world like this?" he sobbed out, pacing over and over again, "I wanna make it better. I wanna make it right." Sitting down against the tree, he opened his notebook, mentally planning how he would fight for change.

"Music," he thought, "with lyrics of love." Picking up his pen, he began to write of how the world had broken him, only to counter it with lyrics of positivity and acceptance. Music was the only outlet Joon had ever found, and it excited him to think that maybe, with his songs, he really could make it right; the world, people, everything.
