Alex looked at the prey they caught.
A rabbit, two birds and three mouse.
Wow! we haven't gotten this much food since forever!
Alex took the rabbit out of the plie of prey they caught and dragged it to his den to share with Nip.
"Here. We can share the rabbit." Alex offered.
"No thanks." Nip replied. "I have already eaten my share of food today. You can eat the whole thing if you want."
Alex shrugged and started wolfing down the rabbit.
"Here, you can eat the remains" Alex offered. "Thanks" thanked Nip. Nip started gobbling the remains of the rabbit.
"We should really start start storing up our prey in case prey get scares." said Nip. "winter is going to scare all the prey away into their burrows, and won't wake up until it's spring. Alex nodded.
"we should go back to hunting now" said Alex. "Before hunting becomes harsh." Alex and Nip went their own separate ways to find prey.

Alex stalked along the tall grass, with a mouthful of squirrel in his mouth. Alex spotted Nip along the way to their den.
"Sorry Alex" Nip started. "For some reason, I couldn't find any prey in that area." "It's fine." Alex started. "we still have a ton back at our den."
Alex stared at the ground as he stalked along the trail back to their den.
winter is coming sooner that I thought.
Nip walked ahead as she walked into the den.
"Alex!" Nip howled. Nip looked horrified.
"Our pile of prey we caught is gone!"
