Chapter 5

I was at class when I lightly felt a tug on my hair. I turned around and saw Kuroo with a dorkish smile

The teacher wasn't hear yet so I can freely speak

"What?" I asked him but he gave me a sly smirk

"Do you eat magnets?" he asked

"Are you going to say that I'm attractive?" I tried to guess what is his pick up line

"Noooooo" he denied I raised my brow at him not believing his words

"But was it smooth?" he asked trying to know my opinion

"No it was cringey" I confessed

"Well that was worth a shot" he sighed

"Where do you even find this weird pick up lines" I asked

"I searched for them just for you"

"That's not a pick up line"

He started sulking in the corner until our homeroom teacher. I shifted my gaze at her. She started with introduction such as announcements like club activities

"The interhigh pre lims is quite near so you guys should practice plus it's your last game this year "

"We're totally going to win and get to the nationals"

It was now free time. I stayed at my seat and started reading one of my books

"Well one of our classmates is throwing a party for us third years. Are you two going to join us. Everyone is coming" the class rep asked us

I turned my head on Kuroo who was now half awake turned his head at the class rep and shifted it to me

"Why are you looking at me?" I asked

"Do you know the schedules?" he asked

"It's depends? When is it exactly?" I asked the class rep

"Well it will be this Sunday" he replied

"Well you guys don't have practice on Sunday because we have no Kenma. His too tired to practice or even lift a finger except for his games" I mumbled too myself

"Both of us are going" Kuroo stated with a smile and decided for me. I simply nodded in agreement

It was early in the morning

Kuroo waited for me at the train station. We went to the resort together. I could see our classmates waiting for us

"Good thing you got here safely" one of the girl said mostly directed to Kuroo since she has a flirtatious way of looking at him up and down

I just gagged at the way she approached Kuroo

"Oh you too" she then turned her head at me but she gave me a glare most likely from jealousy. It's like switching faces people are horrible

"Are we the last ones?" I asked while looking around

"No we just got here, they were few who are going to be late so I think we should get inside. Maybe the other were already there" one of them suggested

I simply nodded my head and followed the the two holding hands. My face immediately scrunched in disgust

"the other section must have gotten first" Kuroo added his face pleading for help. My disgust look suddenly turned to amusement

We arrived at the pool and it was gigantic the others were already swimming. I recognize Yaku and Kai who was chatting to each other

Kuroo immediately went to there direction. I simply sat on a free chair. I casually took my phone and inserted my headset on to my phone. I place it on my ear as the music started playing

But it was suddenly cut off I opened my eyes and see Kuroo

"You really don't like pools"

"Yes, I'm not a swimming type of person and I'm not going in there someone might have peed in there. It's like swimming with your own sweat" I said

"We are here to enjoy at least show some sort of enthusiasm right now?" he stated which clearly irratated me. I softly shoved his face

"OooooOooh look a giant toilet" I said with fake enthusiasm and rolled my eyes

So I went to the changing room. I didn't have a swimsuits so I wore one of my sports bra that I used back then when I still train.

I went outside as I put one of my jacket over my shoulders. I didn't expected a few gaze would be fixated on me

I casually sat on the side as I turned my gaze at Yaku

"What? Is there a problem"

"No, you look like -"

"Your about to kill someone" Kuroo interrupted him

"What in the world are you talking about?" I rolled my eyes at his non sense

"I think it means you just had an intense presence when you arrived" Kai tried to explain calmly

"Is that so?"

'So this presence hasn't left me yet?' I quietly thought to myself

Kai noticed drastically changed of her mood. He immediately panicked and quickly apologized

"Don't apologize, I was just thinking if I'm that scary when I'm around. Do I bother you too much at this state?" I asked

'That what makes you attractive!' Yaku thought to himself

"Not really, we are already used to it" Kai tried comforting me

"So you had difficulty of getting used to it when we were first years right?" I asked

"I never thought you were that self conscious?" Kuroo suddenly appeared behind us startling the three of us

"How in the world you got here without making a sound" Yaku asked in disbelief

"Ninja!" Kuroo replied with a toddler like pose

"Is the water cold?" I noticed that he was soaking wet. I assumed he already went in the pool

"Try it yourself?"

"Never mind" I said then went to get some food but I was suddenly lifted in air

"Ah come on do you think I would leave you off the hook" then I suddenly felt the cold water every inch of my skin

Both of us now are underwater. I looked at his eyes as it sparkled beautifully. I couldn't help but gasp it wasn't a good idea

I immediately went to the edge and glared at him. He simply gave me a sly smirk

Kuroo was mesmerized when she saw her underwater. Her hair, eyes everything was perfect

"Was it fun?"

Instead of replying at him. I spit the water that got into my mouth directly on his face

"Wow I'm honored" he said nonchalantly

"Ew you disgusting bastard!"
