I went to the library. I remembered it was the place we're my senpai found me and offered me to join the club. To be the Nekoma's manager
I didn't know I felt like I could find someone in here. I went to the place were I was silently reading my book when I was a first year
I went to the corner of a book shelf and got an eye contact with a small girl. She seems to small to be a first year curled in the corner while playing with a console
Her eyes widen in surprise. She had a small frame. I decided to walk up to her and gave her a soft smile
"What are you doing there?" I asked gently kneeling down to match her height
"Uhm.. I'm playing my game" she replied shyly
"Did I interrupted something?" I asked
"Well I kinda lost" she said while showing her game
"Ehhhh? I'm sorry I didn't mean to" I apologized
"It's fine, it's just a game" she said there was a clear tint of red shade on her cheeks
"Would you mind me asking if you have joined a club yet?"
She shook her head in reply
"Then would you like to join the boy's volleyball club?" I said proudly
"But I don't know how to play volleyball" she said
"Ohhh, your not going to play your just going to be there manager" I explained to her
"What?"
"The truth is I'm finding someone to replace for me when I leave high school" I said and stared at the ceiling
"Do you think I'm fit for that job?" she said in the most lowest voice. She seems to be doubting herself
"Well I will be there for you until the end of the school year so don't worry"
"I'm not sure if I could do it" she said while fiddling with her fingers
"You will try if it fits? There is no harm on trying new things. Plus I really need your help" I pleaded while intertwining my hands together in a praying motion
"Uhmmmm ok" she nodded in agreement
"Really? Then meet me on the volleyball gym! And sign up it just a trial you can leave anytime you want" I said then gaze her a paper
The girl gaze at her senpai leaving with a proud grin. It was now for club activities. The real reason she didn't join any club is doesn't seem to fit with the other clubs. None of them are to her liking. Plus club takes most of our time. Not joining one means more free time
She didn't expect to be recruited so unexpectedly. She decided to go to the volleyball gym

"Do you like Lev?" Kuroo asked while I was picking up a few balls then placed it on the basket
"What are you talking about?"
"No I just saw you with him earlier this morning just curious" he said trying hard to have a dismissive tone
"he helped me with some stuff" I replied with a monotonous tone
"What stuff?"
"Your quite nosy. Why should I tell you" I said then continued cleaning
"Your hair looks nice? Who did it for you?" he asked and inspected me head to toe
"Would you stop you are creeping me out?" I said while using my broom lightly hitting him on the butt
"Are those two always like that?" Lev asked Kenma but he simply responded with throwing a ball directly on his face as if setting for him
I turned my head to the entrance locking eyes with a girl. My eyes widen as a huge smile formed my lips not expecting her to consider my offer
Kuroo knotted his brows. Just a minute ago he was being scolded what a change of mood. He then turned to the same direction. He saw a small girl shorter than Kenma. She looks completely nervous as if stepping into a lions den
He saw Yukio approaching her. Everyone trailed there eyes to their beloved manager as if protecting her using there gaze
The girl shivered as feeling the gazes of everyone in the room. She swallow the saliva in her mouth in fear
"Hey your here! I'm so glad" I held her hand and tried to pull her inside
She was now standing on the floor of the court. I grabbed her shoulder with a bright smile. I turned my head seeing the team with curiosity filled there eyes
"You should introduce yourself" I said gently stating nudging towards the boys
"Uhmmmm my name is Y/N Nekomata" (I don't know what to name her)
"Ehhh? Nekomata?"
"Y/N I didn't expected you to be interested in volleyball"
We all turned our head to coach nekomata
"Uhmmmm I don't think I'm cut out with this" she confessed
"So am I back then I started I wasn't confident with my skills, all you need is support and everything will be fine. I wasn't the best manager before don't worry everyone can makes mistakes" I said comforting her
Kuroo, Yaku and Kai exchanged glances knowing it wasn't true. She was an amazing Manager they wanted to deny her claim but it wouldn't help Y/N she might feel upset
"Wow she's are new manager too bad I didn't see you before. I was so useless" Lev pouted while looking at me
"Don't worry it's fine" I comforted him
The others are ganging up on her. Before Kuroo could approach I immediately kicked him. He winced in pain
"Don't even get near her. You will scare the poor girl away" I scolded
"Am I that scary?" he asked his teammates with a confident smile
Everyone agreed with no hesitation of whatsoever. That was left Kuroo sulking in the corner with a broken heart. Feeled so betrayed by everyone especially Kenma who harshly insulted him
