Good knew this day was coming up, and as much as he dreaded it, he had awaited it with a certain amount of anticipation. Blueberries fresh from the bush tasted the best, as opposed to the berries he stored for a few days. Although maintaining the bushes took a bit of effort, that wasn't the part he disliked about his weekly journey to his gardens- no, the worst part about that was the trek itself. Blueberries were rather specific plants, and Good needed to find the perfect place to plant them- which led to going to the garden being nearly an hour's undertaking on foot.

Of course, he wouldn't be travelling on foot. Many would prefer to be underneath the shade of the forest's trees in the heat of summer- especially July seeing as it was the hottest month of the year- but Good very much enjoyed feeling the warmth. Besides, flying would be much faster, and it would be great exercise. He stepped outside of his lone cabin in the woods, stretching his gorgeous white wings. People have told him that they reminded them of the wings of an angel- something that irritated him, but he'd grown somewhat used to. Nonetheless, he would still be aggressive to anyone who decided to state it.

Good started to flap his wings, stretching them out in their full glory, using his legs to speed up, running before jumping up into the air. Ascending into the air was always a bit clumsy, especially without a running start, but he didn't care all that much. He made his way up above the forest canopy, and he was free. The sun's heat beat down on him, but he didn't mind. No, the heat was perfect, he was far more comfortable with scorching temperatures than even slightly chilly ones. That was what happened when you're a demon- at least, as long as you aren't an ice demon.

For a long while, he rode the wind, hovering up high in the morning sky, before he dove towards the clearing with the blueberry bushes. Once he was just a little above the ground, he flared his wings open again, catching the air and pulling himself up before gliding the rest of the way down. He noticed a shiny orange doll, it almost looked as though it was made of crystals! Good wasn't very well versed in the world of gems, so he couldn't say what it was, but it was likely rather valuable. He growled under his breath, someone had to have been here, inside of HIS garden.

And they left their weird doll thing there too. They would probably come back for it, and that meant Good would be able to catch whoever had barged in. There were only two people outside of himself that knew of the garden: Nightmare and Pandas. It was highly unlikely that Pandas was messing with the garden, he accidentally froze one of the plants once and never forgave himself, but Nightmare? It was quite possible that Nightmare had come along and trespassed onto the garden despite knowing that Good would kick his -redacted-, but then again he would have made more of a scene rather than just leaving something here.

The fluffy demon picked up the unusual item, glancing momentarily at the coal black eyes. They were perfectly round and shimmered in the light as though they were polished and tumbled stones, or even black beads. It almost felt as though Good was being watched by it. He shook his head, it had eyes so of course he would feel like he was being watched. At least the doll didn't have those weird hyper realistic eyes that always seemed to follow you. Good looked back around the garden. Nothing else seemed out of order, interestingly enough... wait. Was that a cat?

Indeed, a pitch black feline was laying in front of one of the blueberry bushes, napping peacefully. No collar adorned its neck, in fact, no form of identification at all. It was difficult to tell whether this feline had an owner or not, or any feline really. Good wasn't an expert, and nor was he a cat owner. Sure, there was a cat he sometimes saw and fed, or even sometimes pet when he let him, but he didn't have any actual pets.

He leaned down and poked the kitty, who opened his eyes and hissed loudly, but didn't immediately attack. It looked at the doll in Good's hand before laying its head down against the ground once more. It was calm, and not at all afraid of the tall and threatening looking demon- then again, he was threatening to people, not cats. Cats were something completely different, it was as though they were in a world of their own sometimes. A world they ruled.

Good finally managed to get his attention off the glorious black cat and got back to his previous train of thought. The owner of the doll would have to return to retrieve it at some point- he could only assume, after all the doll looked to be fairly valuable, and he would be ready to give whoever it was a piece of his mind. Good- calm down. It's just a garden. You didn't even fence it off, how are people supposed to know that it was yours?.. Okay yeah the garden is clearly taken care of by SOMEONE but still that's not the point.

He set the strange item down and went back to collecting the blueberries and tending to the bushes while he waited patiently for the doll's owner to return. Even when he finished, nobody had yet arrived, but that just gave him time to hide. Granted, it wasn't easy to hide when you were nine feet tall and pure white in colouration, but he managed to figure it out all the same. He'd been so preoccupied with that, though, that he didn't notice a rather important little fact.

The doll was nowhere to be seen.
