Beyoncé Pov
4 months later- December 13 months. Onika hasn't been talking to me. Yea I see her all the time, but she barely says anything to all of us. I don't know if it's her way of proving something, but i'm confused. She rarely talks to her brothers anymore and they've moved out by now. Anthony left too, he chose the college out of state. Bryan is the only one really still there, but he be gone most of the time because of his girlfriend.
She has definitely matured over these few months and man oh man is she a sight to see. I just can't be around her without thinking.... thoughts.
The parents are back, because of Onikas birthday. It's in exactly a week and she'll be 18. My birthday was months ago and I turned 20. I invited Onika to the party and she came, but she left before everyone went to the club. We were telling her she could come in, but she kept denying so we gave up.
It's so weird seeing her around and not being how we used to be. I swear I haven't seen her smile in so long, but when she does it's so bright and beautiful. Her dimples have definitely gotten deeper and the way her skin shines when she walks into a room. Her hairstyles have advanced tremendously. The colors she be doing is just so different. She usually would do a natural hair color like blonde, black or brown. But now... she does bold colors and it's just so different.
For her birthday she's doing something everyday until the 10th. Her birthday is on the &th, but those Sagittarius always do the most. It's her 18th too so that's expected. I don't know if i'm invited or not because everyone has gotten and invitation, but me. She even sent some out to our parents. The first event is today, since it's the first of December.
Since i'm not in school anymore, I don't know what's going on. This is her last year, and she'll graduate soon. I just want us to get back on the terms we were on months ago. Not gonna cap, I miss her small angry ass. That was my baby, still is.
"Have you talked to Onika?" Dina walked to my room door. I shook my head and she groaned. "What the fuck! I haven't talked to her in two days." She said confused. I scrunched my face and sat up. That's weird for Dina to not hear from her. If Onika would ignore everybody, Dina would be the only one she still talked to.
It must really be something if she ignoring Dina. "You tryna pull up over there? Shit I haven't really talked to her in 3 months so I need to see what's going on anyways." I shrugged. She nodded her head and we left.
Dina was over my house for Solange. She's having boy problems, and Josh is Dinas brother. So it only made sense to call her. We got in my car and drove around there. Her truck was gone, but we still went inside because Momma Carol was there.
We hugged her in the kitchen, she was cooking. This lady stay making some food. "Hey Momma... where Onika go?" Dina asked. Carol looked at us, and frowned her face. Awl shit. "So she not with y'all?" her voice went low. My eyes widened and I looked at Dina. We just fucked up without even trying.
"Uhh, no. I haven't talked to her in months and Dina ain't heard from her in two days. We was trynna see what her problem was." I shrugged. Might as well tell the full truth. Carol could sniff out a lie from anywhere and I don't want to be a victim today.
"She been gone for hours now, I don't know y'all. Let me call her." She pulled out her phone. It went straight to voicemail and she did one of those crazy chuckles. Onika better answer the phone.
After a while of calling, she finally answered. But it sounded like she was arguing with somebody. "I don't care! I do not care. Get out my face! Hello Momma." She switched. Who could she be telling to get out her face? She went from yelling to a sweet little voice. Carol looked between us before speaking. Hopefully she not doing something she don't got no business.
