As lovely as First Class was, no amount of luxury was able to raise Miranda's energy. All she could think about was Alejandro and Courtney flirting for hours on end and it made her self-esteem drain like water in a bathtub. And to think, if she just hadn't gotten so attached to him and kept her mouth shut, she never would've had to worry about this stupid plan of his.

She tried to just ignore it and relax as much as she could, especially after her heat exhaustion incident. But, no matter how much sleep she got, she'd just be woken up by harsh voices scolding her for her actions. And those voices just pressured her to go walk down to the confessional.

But not to say anything to the camera, since she couldn't even think of anything to say. She was that mentally exhausted. No, instead she just used it as a hideout to try and fail miserably to clear her head. Perhaps if she couldn't hear Courtney's annoying giggling from Economy Class, that would help a little bit.

"I bet you say that to every pretty competitor~"

And Alejandro's sickly sweet voice too.

"Ah, but you are the only pretty competitor here."

Miranda huffed, whining quietly as she pulled her knees up to her chest and buried her head in between them.

"I wish I was up there. The air back here is just so... stale and annoying."

"Perhaps I can make your journey a little sweeter. Wait here." Alejandro cooed, kissing her hand.

"Oh, thanks~ you~!" Courtney playfully poked his nose.

He grinned, walking away. Miranda decided to head back to First Class, just so she didn't look suspicious. She sat down in a chair, put an earbud in, and typed on her phone to look unbothered.

Shortly, Alejandro came into the luxury quarters, took a few cookies, and left without a word. As soon as he was out of hearing distance, Owen and Duncan had things to say about the whole situation.

"So... Al and Courtney. Heh, is that weird for you?" Owen asked through chuckles.

"Whatever." Duncan rolled his eyes.

"Yeah, it's funny 'cause Noah always said Al was into Miranda big time!"

The girl mentioned pouted, not looking up from her phone. "Nope. Definitely not."

Duncan seemed intrigued by this. "Huh? What else did Noah say?"

Owen munched on his cookie. "Oh, just that Al's not what he seems, he's a slippery eel, and I should never trust him 'cause he's a male Heather."

"Sounds about right." Miranda huffed.

Owen sighed too. "I really miss Noah..."

Seeing a golden opportunity to get ahead in the game, Duncan decided to go along with Owen's sentiment.

"Yeah, me too. And the best way to show him what his friendship meant to us is to obey his dying words."

His morbid word choice made Owen start to panic, picking him up as he choked up pieces of chocolate.

"What?! When did he die?!"

"No, no, no! He's fine! I-I-I mean his parting, his parting words!"

Owen, feeling completely relieved, hugged Duncan tightly. After a moment, Duncan pulled himself out of his strong grasp.

"Dude! The point is, if Noah thought Alejandro was the enemy, you and I better stick together and do the same! It's what Noah would've wanted."

Miranda just started to tune everything out, scrolling through her camera roll. She landed on pictures and videos of her and Alejandro in Jamaica. One video showed Miranda trying to take a cute selfie, but Alejandro would plop his head on her shoulder and start squeezing both her cheeks in his hand, making her lips smush into a face that made her laugh hysterically. She couldn't help but smile sadly at how clearly drunk they were acting. But...they were clearly happy, too.
