One week. Seven days till I leave for Portugal to go on tour. That's the first place we stop to perform. And, I have yet to tell Cylan about my departure. I'm in deep shit. Well, I was already in shit because I thought some chick flick she watched wasn't good but if/when I tell her, she'll be beyond pissed.

I run down the hill, starting up my early morning, pre-tour workout. I've been doing this ever since I met Cylan so I think I've been showing some results already. Besides, our trainer Mark would be proud to see me doing all of his little workouts. They make my lungs burn and feel like they are being stomped on with cleats.

"Do you realize you haven't even made it down the hill and you are already breaking a sweat?" I look around to see Calum standing by our mailbox with a bunch of mail in his hands. I flip him off and continue down to the beach. I have been running on the beach for a bit now, something about it relaxes me. Once I reach the sand, I run along the shoreline as the beach crew started to set out the banana huts and umbrellas. I guess it isn't as early as I thought it was. Seven in the morning is pretty damn early if you ask me.

I hear my ringtone sound through my ear buds, that make me slow down to a walk and pull my phone out of my shorts. Calum is calling me, so I slide answer and attempt to catch my breath. "What do you want? I am running." I huff, sweat sliding onto my forehead.

"Come back to the house, you were apparently spotted so Liz thinks it's safer for you to be here."

I quickly hang up and put my phone into my shorts. Sadly, I jog my way back up to the house and onto the sidewalk. I pass Cylan's bandmate, Geordie, and she sends me a quick wave and smile before heading back into the restaurant. She is probably my favorite out of the band- besides Cylan of course.

I walk into the house to see Ashton laying sprawled out on the couch. "Where are the others?" I ask, pulling my earbuds out of my my ears. Ashton points up, referring to their bedrooms. "Okay," I look in each direction to see if anyone is around. "I don't know when I should tell Cylan about me leaving on tour. We just got back into a good place, I can't possibly lose her trust again."

Ash sits up and pauses the movie he was watching. "Come over here," I quickly oblige to his order and sit on the recliner next to him. "You need to tell her. Like now. You can't keep pushing it back because then she'll be pissed and hurt. Do it, tell her to come over here and I'll keep the guys and Liz upstairs till Cylan leaves."

Forcing me out of my seat, he grabs my phone from my pocket and dials her number. Within seconds, he hands my phone back to me and says that it is ringing. I inhale a few deep breaths. I have to do this. It's now or never.

She didn't answer her phone so I quickly leave her a message. "Hey, uh, Cylan can you come over as soon as possible? It's kind of important and I can't wait any longer to tell you. Well, just text me when you get this. See ya." I quickly press end and throw my phone onto the couch. Ashton smiles widely at me and gives me a thumbs up.

"You won't regret this, I know I'm right."

I run my hand through my sweaty hair, as I pace the floor. Cylan ended up responding right away and that she was on her way. Holy shit, I'm sweating like balls in here. Ashton has already thought of his plan to keep everyone upstairs while I talk to Cylan down here.

The doorbell rings throughout the house, making me jump. She's here. I walk over to the door and quickly swing the door open. Cylan, looking as perfect as usual, is standing there with an uncomfortable look on her face. "Your voicemail made me want to piss my pants, it scared me half to death." She nervously laughs, walking into the living room.

"Sorry, but it's true. This is kind of important and I don't want you to be mad or upset. I mean upset is inevitable but anger, not so much." I nervously chuckle. Cylan sits on the edge of the couch while I sit on the coffee table in front of her. "You aren't going to like this but, I am going on tour. Like, all over the world and I leave for the tour in a week." I blurt.

My eyes search her face for any anger or sadness but all I see is blankness. Nothing. Her eyes hold no emotion and she has no facial expressions. It's like she is a robot. "Okay then. I mean we aren't dating so it shouldn't be this painful." I look up at her to see Cylan, struggling to smile. "I'm so proud of you guys, I really am." As if she was a light switch, her eyes begin to get wet, as she hastily wipes them.

"Cylan, you know I have and always will like you." I sigh, resting my hand against her face.

"No I know. But I'm just going to miss you so much. This is what we both are in this business for." She shrugs, tears lightly treading down her face.

My instincts kick in, so I quickly sit next to her and wrap her in my arms. Whether it's inappropriate or not, I lean in and kiss the top of her head. We both need it. I was so stupid to declare us being friends but I can't take it back now that I only have seven days with her.

"You won't forget me, will you?" She whispers, her head laying on my chest.

I look down at her, in disbelief. "I could never forget you. Cylan, you mean so much to me. More than you'll ever know." I softly rub her back, putting us both into a nice serenity. "I'll FaceTime you right before every show. Or almost every show. And when I say almost because it's the exception of the ones you'll be at." I smile.

Cylan lifts her head and just stares up at me. "I am going to miss you. Who am I going to go on stupid adventures with now? The others are too girly and afraid of their shadows." She jokes, poking my cheek.

"Well I guess when you come and visit, we'll go on mini adventures." I declare.

She grabs onto my face gently and slowly puts her lips against mine for a few seconds. "I'm sorry, I just needed to do that." She whispers after we pull apart.

Little did Cylan know, that I have been waiting for her to do that ever since I laid eyes on her.

"It's cool."
