Hands grabbed my shoulders, shaking me wildly. My eyes shot open, spotted Joanna standing over me, and quickly shut again. She only continued shaking me, persistent in her endeavor.

"What?" I asked groggily. Before she could reply, I turned onto my stomach and threw my pillow over my head. I couldn't have slept for more than three hours, there was no way it was time to get up.

"Oh come on Ellie, get up. I woke up up the way I'm supposed to. I need to know what classes you are taking this year." Joanna whispered.

"Check my bloody schedule, Jo. It's on my nightstand." I grumbled against my bed.

Jo rarely slept. Well she did, but rarely at the same time as the rest of us. She would sleep in class or in the common room but for some reason she could never sleep in the dorms. Despite this, she somehow always had more energy than the rest of us.

"Potions, sixth year Charms, kiss up, Herbology, Transfiguration, Arithmancy, Defense Against the Dark Arts, and History of Magic," Joanna began to read out loud.

"Shut it, Joanna!" Katie moaned at the same time María mumbled, "What time is it?"

"It's 4:25, it's not that early, Just needed to know." Jo whisper-yelled back at them before turning to me.

"Go back to bed," Adhera whined.

"Can't, too upset! We aren't all in the same classes anymore. What are we going to do!?" Joanna cried, her voice now at full volume.

"Shut it!" We all said together. Joanna let out a string of curses but quieted down after, sitting on her bed. I rolled away from her, facing the door. I closed my eyes softly, sleep just barely managing to pull me back into its embrace.

"What!?" Joanna asked as she picked up a piece of toast, bringing it halfway to her mouth.

"'Dunno, maybe it's the fact that we've been awake for two and a half hours because of you," María said, glaring at Joanna. All of us had begrudgingly gotten out of bed at 5:30 and made our way to the Great Hall, after Joanna woke us up yet again by falling off of her bed. As confident as she was, she was the biggest klutz. We sat alone in the Great Hall for an hour until other students finally began to shuffle in.

"I didn't mean to wake everyone up, usually you all go straight back to sleep. How was I supposed to know that you would stay up?" Joanna grumbled, resting her head on her dark hand. She did not look the least bit tired while the rest of us were sporting matching eye circles.

"'Morning!" Ginny Weasley sat herself besides me cheerfully, grabbing herself some breakfast. I took a second glance at her and frowned.  I had failed to notice last night that Ginny had grown some over the summer.

"Did Ms. Weasley have a growth spurt? Merlin's beard, I think you're taller than me." I laughed, nudging Ginny's arm. She grinned, clearly proud of her new height. Her entire family has super tall genes so it made sense that Ginny would be tall too, but I couldn't believe that I was now shorter than a third year!

"Still the shortest sibling but I'm taller than mum. Ron says that I probably won't grow anymore." Ginny shrugged, and then she took in everyone's faces. Adhera and María were still glaring daggers at Joanna, who didn't even notice their gaze. Her eyes were on Katie, who was asleep, her head resting against the table. "What's up with her?" Ginny asked, a confused look on her face.

"Oh you know," I said as Joanna got up and began to walk around the table towards where Katie was sitting, "just Jo waking all of us up at four in the morning because she wanted to know my schedule."
