Over the past few days everyone began to see Jodie's smile again, it wasn't as often as it was before but it was getting there.
She wasn't quite ready to go back to school yet but she was getting there.
This morning, at 10am she woke up, showered and got ready without having to be forced up by Pete. She had breakfast which was great since she hadn't ate a meal for over three weeks.
Even though it was a home game she was absolutely buzzing. She loved European games, and it was the first leg playing Frankfurt. Next week she's travelling to Germany for the second.
Jodie dressed in her usual Stone island jacket put on her claret and sky blue Adidas spezials, a retro West Ham shirt and Adidas shorts since it was boiling today
"They fly so high, they reach the sky" Pete and Jodie scream, annoying Beth
"If you two don't shut the fuck up I'll slap the pair of you"
"Slap me Beth" Pete laughs bending over in front of her
"Yeah you only do that for Dave"
"Only do what for Dave?" Dave asks walking in with a beer in his hand
"Bend over" Sophie says jumping on the couch next to Jodie
"See even Sophie knows"
"Sophie don't make me tell your mother" Dave warns
"Dad, what will she do? She hate's the two of us. She only with you for your money"
"And why do you hang around me?"
"Money, alcohol and...I don't actually have another reason"
"Right. Thanks daughter"
"You're welcome father"
"Uncle Pete do you have any pancakes left?' Sophie asks wandering into the kitchen
"In the fridge.Why are you around so early anyway? kick off is at 8 and we aren't leaving here until 6"
"Mum kicked us out cause we were pissing her off" Sophie answers for him
"Well you ain't all hanging around here, i've got work to do"
"Relax it's only 2, we'll be out here soon"
"Four hours dave, four hours"
"Jods the boys just messaged saying they want to meet up. Do you want to?" Sophie asks looking up from her phone
