"Jods remember we're leaving in half an hour don't be too long" Pete says from the other side of the bathroom door
"Yeah, i won't be long" Jodie replies with a shaky breath
"You okay kid?"
"Yeah i'm fine, i've just wet my face" she lies
"Oh okay"
Jodie sits down on the toilet looking at the three sticks in her hand. It can't be true. They were always careful.
Three positive pregnancy tests.
She puts them in her hoodie pocket, unlocks her bathroom door and goes into her room
Jay
We need to talk. ASAP
What? Everything okay?
I can't say this over messages. We need to talk. Meet in the abbey in about an hour?

Jodie quickly gets ready putting a west ham shirt on and her usual stone island jacket with blue spezials. It's a little warmer today so she didn't want to wear a jumper
She puts the pregnancy tests in her pocket and zips it up
"Jodie come get lunch before you go" Beth shouts upstairs
"coming" she says and wipes her tears before leaving her room
"Okay dad made pancakes earlier and you didn't have breakfast so have some pancakes" Beth says as Jodie sits down at the table
"I'm not hungry if i'm being honest"
"Jods you haven't had anything to eat, you need to have something babe"
"I know i'm just not hungry"
"Turning down my special pancakes? There must be something wrong" Pete laughs
"Do i need to eat something?"
"Yeah kid you kinda do, at lest have toast or something" Pete says looking up at Beth who gives him the same look
"okay" she sighs
"what's going on?" Beth mumbles to Pete
"i don't know"
"Jods what's going on?" Beth asks
"nothing" Jodie snaps "sorry, sorry i didn't mean to snap" Jodie apologises walking up and hugging beth
"what's wrong babe?"
"i don't know" Jodie says crying
"Sunshine we don't need to go today if you're not up for it"
"No i need to go today, i need the football right now"
"At least get chips or something on your way home and if you need to talk we can talk when you get home"
"okay"
Pete sits down on a chair and brings Jodie over to sit on the edge of his knee and wipes her tears from under her eyes
"I don't want my princess crying, give me a hug"
"I'm sorry Dad"
"You have nothing to be sorry for sunshine"

"You alright Jodie?" Ben asks
"Yeah yeah i'm fine"
"Do you want me to get you a drink? I'll pay?" Marc asks
"No, no no drink" she quickly declines
"Jods, come with me a minute" Jay says standing up and walking towards the bar, she quickly stands up to follow
"Please tell me what's going on gorgeous" he asks leaning against the bar taking her hand
"I can't tell you here" she's say with her eyes starting to fill with tears
"But you said, baby what's wrong?"
"Come into the bathroom" she walks away and he follows
"Jods you need to tell me what's going on you're scaring me" Jays says once they are both in the bathroom
"Do you promise not to get mad at me?"
"Jods i wouldn't be mad at you, please just tell me"
She zips down her pocket and hands him the three tests and watches as his face drops
"You're pregnant?" He asks in disbelief
"That's what the test says"
"It's mine?"
"i haven't been with anyone else" she sighs turning around to the wall
"Jods look at me" "Jodie" "Jodie Jade Dunham look at me" he demands calmly "Whatever decision you make. I'm going to be here I'm not going anywhere"
