Sympathy

Once you make it to B site where Skye and the others are you quickly analyze the situation, Skye is trying to quickly patch Raze up from a bullet wound on her arm as killjoy and Sova are trying to keep the enemy distracted

Sova and killjoy don't look to good either and Cypher is in need of medical assistance as soon as possible,
You quickly make your way to Skye's side but she immediately picked up her gun and tried shooting at you. You completely forgot you were in the mirror Jetts body

"Woah woah!! It's me Yowai! Calm down! I took over the enemy teams Jett"

Skye calmed down since she knew that the enemy team didn't have a mirror of you, not yet at least.

"What are you doing here?! I told you to go A site where Cypher should be positioned!"

"I did! I took out everyone there and even got the spike so they can't plant but Cypher needs you immediately, he's lost to much blood and I'm afraid he isn't gonna last much longer"

She gives you a worried expression
"I don't know about you but I don't think those clones are just gonna let us up and leave, they'll chase us all the way back to the jet"

I stop and think for a moment and look at raze who's injured and sova and killjoy who look extremely exhausted and scratched up

"I'll cover you all, get everyone to the jet"

"What?! No are you crazy! We're not leaving you by yourself! Theres a whole team of them!"

"Skye, I know what I'm capable of and this, I know I'll be able to do. Just promise when I get back to the jet I don't hit the floor to hard from exhaustion"

You look at her and place your hand on her shoulder to reassure her and she finally makes the call to the team to fall back and head to the Jet

Now it's just you and the whole other team 1 vs 5, but you have a little ace up your sleeve that you never really liked using

You walk out in the open and they stop firing because they think your their Jett

"What the hell are you doing Jett!?" The enemy Raze yells at you and you just look at her with a frown and sigh

"Just doing what I have too, I hope it doesn't hurt to bad" you poked your finger with one of Jetts knifes and a drop of blood hit the ground which then spread quickly consuming almost the entire site, you could see all the mirror agents freaking out as they are put in an illusion, none of them focused on what is happening in the real world. You can't help but feel awful when you see a smile on enemy Sovas face and then it quickly being taking over by the look of betrayal and him begging for whoever is in the illusion not to kill him. Before you hear him say anything else that would make you feel worse for him you make your way towards another one of the mirror agents but this one made your heart almost drop.

It was Cypher, well, the clone one, he was already injured and up against a wall with what it looked like a bullet in the left leg and right arm. Your heart ached even seeing the clone version of Cypher injured and so you kneeled in front of him taking away any weapons he had on him and then took him out of the illusion when things in it started to get bad and make the Cypher clone panic.

"What the hell?! Your not Jett! Who the hell are you and why did you make me think about my wife trying to kill me!" You could hear the anger in his voice but then he started to tear up

You couldn't help but to just hug and hold him while he cried

"Why the hell..." The cypher tried getting me off him but to no avail because of how weak he was from his injuries

"Just die peacefully...please...I'm sorry that I cannot give you a good illusion of your wife...that is out of my reach.."

The clone didn't say anything and just accepted it and hugged me as I held him and massaged his back till he stopped breathing and body went completely limp, the Cypher clone lost a lot of blood and was already on the brink of death when you got there just like your Cypher was but at least yours is the one who is going to survive.

You gently lay the body of the clone on the floor and gave him one last glance before leaving to see if the other clones have died already from shock. As you check the bodies you hear a very faint voice of the clone you are currently controlling

("please...leave my body with neon..")

You can't help just feel sympathy for the Jett and walk back to A where you killed the Neon. You make sure to completely disarm the Jet before leaving her body and when you do you just watch the Jett take Neon in her arms and hold her tight as you lift up your gun to shoot the Jett straight in the head.

All you hear is the sound of your gun go off and your footsteps as you make your way back to the Jet

Cyphers POV

[Y/n] clones set me down on one the emergency beds they set up and then one of them removed my hand from my wound and put pressure on it themselves so I could relax. Two of them took turns in putting pressure on the wound and one stood guard.

I would see them nod to each other as if they were telling each other things and then the one currently putting pressure on my wound speaks in a kind of emotionless way

"You will be fine, Skye is coming here now with Raze, Sova and Killjoy while I take care of, im sorry, [Y/n] takes care of the squad shooting at them, I'm sorry if I confused you"

"What do you mean? Are you saying they just left her alone?! The last time I communicated on coms with the others they said that there was a full squad of 5!" I tried to get up but my body was to weak and in pain.

The clone that was putting pressure on my wound switched with the other and then she started speaking but this one sounded a little different, more shy?

"Don't worry about [Y/n] Cypher..I um..know she'll be okay so could you please not move so much?"

I can only let out a painful groan but it seems like they understood my response

Not to long after Skye and the others made it and once Skye made it on to the Jet she immediately made her way to me and started to heal me, the bullet that shot me went straight through so she didn't have to go digging for it. Once I was patched up I wanted to go after [Y/n] but Skye and the clones forbidded me too since I just got healed and my body wasn't ready to go into immediate action yet. I sighed and then took a seat, my mind filled with worry for [Y/n] safety.

After what felt like years all the clones disappeared and once [Y/n] stepped onto the jet, I couldn't help but smile underneath my mask. I wanted to just jump up and hug her and feel that she was right there but I didn't want to cause a scene or misunderstanding about our relationship

I just sat there and stared at her happy that she made it back safe but then worry consumed me once again when she collapsed, I caught her and held her in my arms as I looked up at Skye.

"Don't worry she's fine, she's just really exhausted from using all her abilities like that" Skye responds to my look as I sit her up next to where I was sitting

I take my seat right next to [Y/n] and made sure she was comfortable the whole way back to HQ
