Yoo we're up to double digitss
Gonna try writing this chapter in third person and see if i prefer it more than first persons :)"Hey Tommy?" [Y/N] quipped, making said male reluctantly pause his music and look up at [Y/N]. "Yeah?" Tommy mutterd, sitting up in one of the classroom chairs. "Why aren't you cleaning?" [Y/N] asked, kneeling on the broom while staring at the aggravated Tommy. "Because I can," hissed Tommy, who crossed his arms and glared at the floor. [Y/N] furrowed his brows and walked over to Tommy, [Y/N] pulled out a chair and sat next to him, kneeling over to his face. "What happened?" He said softly to Tommy, who was still looking away. Tommy turned to look at [Y/N], to see his intrigued and caring gaze.
It made Tommy blush and look back to the floor, he felt like If he stared into [Y/N]'s eyes for too long he'd get lost. "...I'm just feeling homesick..." the blonde admitted. "...isn't it a little late to feel homesick?" [Y/N] asked, unaware of Tommy's situation. "I left home a few weeks ago, my mum moved back to our home town." He spat. "...I could've gone too but...I-I have my attachments so I decided to stay while she left," he mumbled. "...Where'd she move?" [Y/N] asked. "...Nottingham." Tommy mummured, kneeling over and placing his head in his crossed arms. "I guess it just put me in a grumpy mood..." Tommy muffled into his sleeve. [Y/N] looked at Tommy's blonde curls and fought the urge to run his hands through his seemingly soft hair. He looked at Tommy's head, buried into his arms.
"...It's lonely being away from home isn't it," [Y/N] said, it wasn't a question, more of a statement with a predicted statement to come afterwards. "...mhm..." Tommy mumbled. "It feels like even though you're surrounded by so many people, you still feel, well, alone," [Y/N] stated. Tommy moved his head around in his arms, thinking about the times he and his family had together, and now thinking of the times he and [Y/N] had so much fun. "...I feel like it's gonna get better," Tommy sat up staring at his knees. [Y/N] smiled to himself then looked at to the floors. "...It is," he hummed.
The looked up at eachother, and smiled. [Y/N] held out his arms while Tommy flustered. "Do you need a hug?" [Y/N] asked with his idle smile. "I-I'm alright!" Tommy cried looking away. "Really?" [Y/N] asked. Tommy looked back at him, and stared at his wide arms. "No..." Tommy mumbled, falling into his arms and hugging him. Tommy clinged onto [Y/N]s back like a needy cat, while [Y/N] hugged him back politely, leaning his head into his shoulder. It was only after a few seconds that Tommy had realised how much he enjoyed [Y/N]s embrace, that scared him. The blonde broke apart from their hug, and stood up shakily but quickly. [Y/N] sat their un-phased, but a bit confused.
"R-Right well um, I need to head off to my dorm, I've got some homework to do, " Tommy awkwardly chuckled while he swiped his bag off the floor. "Sorry bye," he spat out and left quicker then he came in. Tommy strutted down the halls feeling confused, flustered and embarrassed, [Y/N] sat in the classroom just feeling confused as usual, but a bit red in the face. Tommy ran off into his dorm, and shut the door behind him. He turned to face his room and slide down the door to his knees. His heart was thumping in his chest and his face felt as if it was on fire. His breathing was uneasy, he tried to breathe deeply as an attempt to calm himself down.
What the big deal? He thought. It was just a hug, there's nothing to it!!! He laid down on the floor and stared at the ceiling. So why am I like this? He pursed his lips and furrowed his brows in confusion and almost disappointment. He thought about [Y/N] soft smile and kind voice, he thought about it too much. He thought about his caring embrace, and broke. "UGHH!" Tommy grunted as he kicked his legs and just so happened to kick his bag away. He placed his hands on his face and tried to get rid of his blush.
[Y/N] sat in the classroom, and just stared into space, thinking of Tommy. His mind was more jumbled then usual, and the subtle noises around his where quieter around him then usual, the loudest thing in the room was his heart screaming in his chest. He grabbed his earplugs and played music to try drown out the sound of his heart. It worked, but he could still feel it in his chest, putting ideas into his brain, pestering him with unfamiliar thoughts. I think I like Tommy. He thought. He got up and put the chairs up, then grabbed his bag and left. When he got to his dorm, he laid on his bed and glanced over to his pillows, for some reason they looked like Tommy to him for a split second. [Y/N] grabbed the pillow and reluctantly put it on the floor next to his bed, then curled up in his sheets and stared the opposite way his pillow was.
I think I like Tommy.
I can't like [Y/N].
