Scotty could not get his mind off of the beautiful girl he had just been talking to and as a result he wasn’t putting his full attention into warming up. He wasn’t really sure what it was about her that had captured his attention so thoroughly. While he had noticed her stunning legs and awesome dye job he knew it wasn’t that - even this early into their first official tour he had found that good looking women were a dime a dozen. Since it wasn’t just her rockin’ bod he knew it had to be something else.

When the image of her pale blue eyes flashed through his mind for the fifteenth time in as many minutes he finally realized what it must have been. The innocent look of her face completely belied the warm invitation she was projecting with her outfit and the contrast was intriguing. Not to mention that the passion in her eyes when she had talked about his band whilst being completely oblivious to who he was was rather quite refreshing. It had been a while since he had talked to a girl who enjoyed their music but wasn't a super-scary-obsessed fan-girl who only wanted to talk to him because of his band.

He felt that fans were infinitely important in his line of work but he didn't want to form important relationships based on the image that his manager tried so hard to project. The fact that Kyler had honestly liked his band's music and wasn't just trying to flatter him had reassured him that they must still be making decent music.

"Scotty! What are you doing man?" Brandt's shout broke him out of his thoughts and reminded him that he was about to go onstage and sing for an entire Lips Touch audience. He'd been nervous all day but the thoughts of Kyler had robbed him of the time he usually used to amp himself up.

He hurried to put in his earpiece and strap on his guitar and soon after heard the sound manager counting them in before the show started. He let their drummer, Felix start playing the beat of their first song. When he heard Rolland's deep bass join in he took his cue and ran up to center stage.

"Hey there awesome people! Are you guys ready to have the best night of your lives?" he asked the audience, pleased that the response was already fairly excited. "We're Storm to Pass and this first song is called 'Gets You'." he quickly informed them. Without further ado he and Brandt, who was the main guitarist and final member of the band, joined in and let the stage fill with the opening chords of Gets You.

Scotty was overly happy to catch a glint of purple and red hair swaying to the right of the stage and made a point to walk in that direction during the instrumental bridge of the song when he could leave his mic behind. The bright smile and wink that he got from Kyler was all he needed to get past his remaining performance jitters and fully fall into the spell of the music.

Trying to actually get to the center of the front row by the time they got to the audience had been impossible. There was absolutely no way those vicious -sorry, devoted- fans were letting anyone past them. Chelsea and her girls had managed to squirm and push their way to the front row somewhere off to the side but it was still a decent spot.

She had always known her best friend Ky was a secret rebel, after all who else helped her plan the schemes that almost always landed her in trouble? But she had never expected Ky, practically the school nerd, to have the balls to casually flirt with a stranger. Usually it looked like she had to struggle to find words to say to any of the number of hot guys they tended to hang out with but she had looked as comfortable as a cat in the sun when a freaking rock star was holding her hand. It was unbelievably awesome. Even without the benefit of being added to the after party guest list, Chelsea was just so proud of Ky for following through with her plan to break out of her comfort zone.

She and Frankie screamed their heads off when Storm to Pass finally bounded on stage. The drummer and bassist both seemed to be incredibly in tune with each other and had Chelsea bobbing her head before the band even started with the actual first song. She had noticed the lack of sound coming from Ky earlier but looking over she could see the emotions of shock and enjoyment pass over her friend's face indicating that Scott must have finally made it up.
