HE didn't quite remember how did he end up in the hallway, he was too dizzy. He just remembers glancing down at Moonbyul's hand in his and holding on to it for dear life, the memory now blurred by his stabbing headache.
He sat on the bed of the nurse's office in silence, his eyelids felt heavier by the second and the pain was becoming unbearable.
"Byul, could you please open the window?" He coughed, pulling on the collar of his shirt, his body was growing unexplainably warmer and he felt like he was suffocating.
Moonbyul obeyed with no complaints, trying to not panic completely at the absence of the nurse. She handed him a bottle of water and painkillers before disappearing somewhere behind him, he didn't have the energy to turn his head.
"I can go back" He stated, a bit too confidently for somebody who could barely stand up. "Are you fucking crazy? You're not going back"
"Yes I am" he grumbled, attempting to leave, but Moonbyul was not going to let that happen. "Can you listen to me just this once? You can't go back, you're clearly sick, just rest for a while, I'll come back to wake you up"
Ni-ki sighed in distress. He had been waiting for that game for months and now he couldn't play, it felt worse than his headache. He knew Moonbyul was not going to let him go out there so the best option was to take her advice and get some rest.
