THE PROBLEM is that people come and go

THE PROBLEM is that people come and go.
They walk and talk and speak and smile.
But then they're gone and it's you and you only, alone with yourself and your thoughts.

Moonbyul had never felt more lonely.
And loneliness is consuming.
Nobody could see, nor understand, or maybe they didn't want to. She didn't want anybody to pity her, to tell her that it was going to be okay, that it was going to get better one day, the words she had begun despising.
She just wanted somebody to see.

The end of every day felt like the end of everything.
But it never was.
She was always there, on the rooftop, hugging her knees, living and breathing.

It was her favorite place.
She liked to be in places where nobody could find her.
Moonbyul liked to be alone, not feeling lonely.

She closed her eyes for a few moments, letting the wind caress her face, the latter reminded her of Ni-ki's touch earlier that day, so gentle and careful, in a way, it still lingered on her skin.

She brought her hand above the scratch, right where his fingers grazed, wondering why did he do it, she had never thought she'd live 'till the day she'd see that side of him.

He had never cared before.
That's what left Moonbyul with a ton of questions.
Why did he change so suddenly?

The sound of a skateboard on the rough asphalt snapped her out of her thoughts.
