Riki's mouth was sealed with silence, he avoided her eyes, though Moonbyul wasn't one to give up easily, her gaze stayed persistent on him, demanding an explanation.
"He. . ." Ni-ki hesitated and Moonbyul arched an eyebrow, unsure if he was afraid to say it or needed a few more seconds to come up with a good lie. Yet the silence implied that she was waiting for him to continue. "He said some things about you he should even think of"
Moonbyul opened her mouth to say something, but she couldn't mutter a word. Her brain needed a few moments to process what she just heard, she almost couldn't believe her ears. She cleared her throat, becoming serious once again.
"Riki. . ." His name left her mouth as she sat next to him and he felt a warm feeling bubbling up in his chest. "Thank you for having my back, but you should have just ignored him"
Riki shook his head vigorously. "No Moonbyul, i couldn't, he really went too far" He protested, a disgusted expression plastered on his face, remembering what he had heard. Moonbyul was left wondering what he could have possibly said, but judging by how angry Riki got, she wasn't sure she wanted to know.
