Y/N POV
I was currently in Kate and Yelena's room as Kate was giving me clothes so I could change out of the ones that I was wearing. Natasha and Yelena were in the living room and every time I thought about Nat I would start smiling. Which was a fact Kate quickly picked up on.
"I'm happy you two came to your senses," Kate says and I shake my head to get out of my daydream.
"It feels so sudden." I shrug as she hands me a stack of clothes.
"She's been in love with you since I met her. It's not that sudden." She watches as I unbutton my shirt.
"Really?" I turn around as I shrug the shirt the rest of the way off.
"I didn't know who she was still set on. But I knew it was someone really important to her. Lena kept trying to get her to go out with people once she and I got together. Those dates always came with her saying, 'It's not her.'" Her voice sounds from behind me and I can't help but smile at that.
"That's nice to hear." I grab the new shirt from the bed but Kate places her hand on my back, making me freeze.
"This looks bad." She says and I glance over my shoulder.
"What does?" I reach back to feel my back.
"You have a huge bruise back here. I think you should shower because some of the fake stuff is on your skin." She adds. "The bathroom is that way." She points and I follow her finger.
"Ok. Thanks." I offer her a smile before grabbing the rest of the clothes and walking into the bathroom. The water feels good. She was right about a huge bruise on my back, probably from when I fell. The water started to sting it after a while so I turned it off and found myself staring at myself in the mirror again. I still looked the same. Nothing has changed besides the fact that I'm kinda dead to the world now.
I quickly change into Kate's clothes before walking back into the bedroom. Kate was gone and now Natasha was there. "You ok?" She gives me a sweet smile and I smile back, just seeing her makes any possible regrets leave my mind.
"Yeah. You?" I ask and she shakes her head.
"Don't lie. Kate told me." She reaches out her hand and I take it. "Can I help?"
"It's just a bruise." I shrug and she gently places a hand on my back.
"Let's go to our room." She leads me out into the living room.
"Our?" I ask and she glances at me.
"If you want to of course. If not there's another guest-" She starts but I stop her with a gentle peck on her lips.
"I think I can manage," I smirk at her and she smiles back.
We walk out and I see Kate and Yelena on the couch together as they share some food and watch some kind of cooking show. Yelena turns when she hears us, "How are you feeling?"
"I'm fine. Really, I promise." I nod at the two women and they share a smile.
Natasha clears her throat and I look over at her, "I guess I should thank you, guys. I made a pretty stupid and rash choice." She glances at me and I smirk at her. "So... thanks. I'm happy I didn't get flown back to a jail in New York."
"Guess that's good enough." Yelena mumbles. "I would have liked a card too. Thanks for saving my life, Sis! That has a good ring to it."
Nat huffs before saying, "Thanks for saving my life... sis."
"Music to my ears. I should have recorded that." Yelena smirks and Kate pushes her.
"Stop being such an ass," Kate says and as the two start to get into a bickering argument Nat drags me into the other room.
