In the beginning

It was just an impulse

Curiously wondering

Why the jumping pulse

While hand began writing

My tricky mind let me indulge

Having fun with my drawing

Oblivious as the light would effulge

Highlighting the beautiful colours

Deceiving me as words came to divulge

Frivolous thoughts in their candours

Or so I deemed them words as I indulge

Then "eh what's that eye for?"

I pondered as then came a bubble's surge

"I can exchange with the reader!?"

Exciting novelty as naivety felt the urge

To explore this new world of splendour

Slowly meaning weighed on each word

Blind eyes rerunning through with stupor

No wonder I was particularly fond

Of these peculiar stories I kept in store

There were little pieces of me they hold

Turned out the carefree writing no longer

Was so meaningless with my heart sold

Laying there all bare for whoever

Would be curious enough to unfold

The layers of my soul in ink and paper

Strangely now weightless with the untold

Exposed with no shame or whatsoever

As finally mind spelt it all out to the world

Freeing self of silent stupidity from ever.
