In Cece's voice was an undertone that Zak didn't like at all. "Uhh... now someone is going to get in trouble!" said Clovis in a creepy voice. Zak rolled his eyes. "It won't be that bad... right?" He looked questioningly at Ria. She got up and stood next to her brother. "If I heard that tone in someone's voice, then I would get away very quickly. It was nice to have known you," Ria said as she put her hand on his shoulder. Zak swallowed and then looked down at Cece again. "She has never looked at me so angry, and she has often looked at me angrily." Zak jumped over the railing into the water, but stayed in place for the time being. Cece looked at her captain sternly.

"Come here!" Zak swam a few centimetres and stopped. "Closer!" Again, Zak moved only slightly from the spot. "All the way over here!" shouted Cece. Zak cringed to himself and swam directly opposite Cece. The rest followed the events eagerly from the Chaos. "What will have made Cece so angry that she doesn't even come on deck?" asked Caramba.

There was a frightening atmosphere between Zak and Cece. "I don't like the way she looks at me because I get goose bumps. Like an 'I'll-kill-you-here-and-now-immediately,' look," Zak thought.

C: "Well, I hope you know why we need to talk?"

Z: "I wish I knew..."

C: "Do you know what tomorrow is?"

Z: "I hope it's not your birthday, because otherwise, I'm done..."

C: "No, you idiot! Tomorrow is the race through all Seven Seas of the Triangle."

Z: "I didn't know anything about that!"

C: "Really, Zak?!" For two weeks, I've been trying to get you to train!"

Z: "I don't think you did!"

C: "If I remind you of yesterday, for example..."

Flashback

C: "Zak?! Remember the race is in two days."

Z: "Of course I couldn't forget that."

Zak went up to the deck where Cece stood in front of him. "What is it?" "Don't you want to train?" "I'll do it later. For now... I have to... help Ria." "What?" Cece shouted after him, but Zak couldn't hear her anymore.

End of Flashback

C: "Or, for example, the excuse three days ago."

Flashback

"Zak, you still have to practice for the Bermuda race. It's pretty important... your opponents are strong and brutal." Zak listened to her with only half an ear. "Mhm... I'll go right away, I just have to read this to the end."

End of Flashback

Z: "I was only reading one book, what's wrong with that?"

C: "Zak, since I've known you, I've never seen you read a book."

Z: "Okay, well, I'll go and train now."

Zak was about to get out of the water and back on the ship, when Cece held him by the arm. "Wait a minute. So that you really practice, I will be your coach." Zak swallowed easily. "Oh, please, don't!"
