"W-Wait it's.. It's real ?"

Sydney nodded, looking at her boyfriend sitting in front of her.

The day after her little incident, when she started to work again, she invited him to go get lunch which he didn't decline at all.

Don't get him wrong, Jimin was a human like everyone else and getting fast food for lunch after being deprived of it as a child under pretext that there was food at home excited him, but going to a four star restaurant with his girlfriend for a lunch date was way better.

However, he didn't expect the announcement she made, his eyes bulging out of their sockets, his lips parted.

They were towards the back of the room to have privacy, but he didn't expect that they'd need it because of what she just told him.

"We didn't take precautions and now I'm pregnant.. Ah, I'll finally be able to call myself a MILF, it's a milestone." She said, seemingly happy.

Jimin didn't know what to feel.

He felt like he was so young, and their relationship was so new too.

But after all, he couldn't blame her for his weak pull-out game, and he also should've asked if she was on any form of contraception before assuming.

Sydney Bachelor was thirty, she had the resources to take care of a child, and Jimin could see that she wanted to keep it.

"If you don't want to be in the baby's life it's okay Minnie, just say it." She said, noticing his frown.

Yet her voice had no hostility at all in it, as always, she was understanding with him.

However, it's not that Jimin wanted to pull the good old 'buy milk' trick, not at all.

"No it's not that it's just that I.. I didn't have my dad around when I was young so I.. I don't really know how I should do this.. I'm so scared Sydney.." He said, looking genuinely panicked. "Like I'm so young too, I have stuff to figure out, I won't be able to be a good dad.."

She gave him a small smile, grabbing his hand in hers and intertwining their fingers, the contact making him advert his gaze back to her.

"If you worry about being a good dad, you'll be an excellent one believe me.. I want to keep this baby, and even though being a mom excites me it also scares me Minnie, we can either walk down this path together, or you can choose to not get involved, I'll understand, you're young and-"

"I might be young but it's not an excuse to not face the consequences of my actions I.. How do you become a good dad, Sydney ?" He asked.

"Be the father you wanted to have." She shrugged.

He gulped, nodding.

It was a lot of pressure, he had to admit it.

If Jimin tend to run away from situations that made him nervous, he decided to stay now, to stop hiding and waiting for people to solve his shit for him.

Sydney was pregnant with his baby, and though he was terrified of being a bad father, he knew what being abandoned felt like, which is why he'll never do that to his own child.

A faint smile formed on his face as he gently squeezed her hand, excitement now slowly building up inside of him.

Then he wanted to laugh as he thought about Jungkook's words, realizing that he really, literally, bred Sydney Bachelor.
