"Miss Bachelor, wait-"
A heavy atmosphere installed itself in the building as soon as Sydney Bachelor walked in.
Her already huge charisma seemed heavier, the click of her heels loudly resonating through the hallways as she took big steps towards the CEO's office.
In this story, we haven't talked about Sydney Bachelor a lot, and we probably won't.
All you need to know is that one thing she doesn't tolerate is disrespect.
And with her affection for Jimin, it was obvious she wouldn't tolerate her sweetheart getting disrespected either.
"Hello mister Min." She said, busting the door open on the male who nearly jumped at the sound.
"I tried to-"
"Shush." She cut the assistant off, not even turning to him as she pinched her fingers to motion him to zip it.
The boy looked at Yoongi in confusion, the CEO taking a deep breath as he intertwined his fingers, supporting his chin on them.
"You can leave, Richard.. What owes me this.. Surprise visit, miss Bachelor ?"
The assistant left as fast as he arrived, understanding that the office was about to become a war zone, as if the way Sydney walked in didn't predict it.
She took a deep breath, twirling her Vivianne Westwood ring around her finger and looking at it, letting a small sigh.
"Mister Min, mister Min.. How long have we known each other for ?" She asked, slowly trailing her gaze back to him.
Something about that action sent actions down Yoongi's spine.
It was announcing the color.
And it was red.
A frightening, bright shade of red.
"About.. Five years, I think ?" He answered.
She hummed in response, nodding before taking a seat.
"We've been enemies, lovers.. But we were never friends." She observed.
"Lovers was the best phase in my opinion."
He observed her, or rather her cleavage to mark his point.
Despite her status, covering up and dressing up conservative was never apart of Sydney's world.
She always wore fit clothes that let her whole dreamy body he got to fondle and touch on the best display possible.
The top she wore let her collarbones he had marked countless times, in this very office, be seen.
Her thin waist that she maintained by working out was marked by the shape of the clothing, toned legs also complimented by the pants.
She wasn't a snack but the whole damn three course meal, and when she opened her mouth, it was even more attractive.
She let out a soft sigh, opening her purse and grabbing a cigarette, proposing one to him, which he refused.
She didn't even ask if she could smoke here, which only reinforced the idea that she came for one thing.
Assert her dominance.
Smoking had always been her only.. Well, biggest vice.
Yoongi had met her with a cigarette between her lips outside of an important event's room, taking the fresh breeze, letting nicotine relax her.
She had always found comfort in the death stick, and when he asked her why, she explained that her father was a smoker.
She had grown up with the smell of cigarette, and somehow, it relaxed her, brought her back to the time everything was easier.
The sweet bliss of childhood innocence, where she'd be in the living room playing with her dolls, her father smoking in the next room, watching his daughter with a soft smile.
The same father who, with a cigarette in his mouth, supported her with her dreams.
The same father who, with a cigarette in his mouth, destroyed anyone who dared to disrespect his dear daughter when she talked about being a strong, independent woman.
As stupid as that sound, smoking reminded her of all of that.
It made her feel strong and confident.
Everything men did, she could do better.
Slowly, she stuck her cigarette between her lips and threw everything that was on the desk on the ground before sitting on it, spinning around to face Yoongi, legs dangling at each side of his body.
She supported his chin on her glove covered index, tilting his head up towards her, a lazy smirk installed on her lips as she blowed the smoke in his face, the smell of the mentol flavored cigarette burning his nostrils, but it burned so good because it came from her.
Yoongi couldn't help but feel his heart throb at the eye contact, so much tension hanging in the room.
She always got him to fold so quick, it actually disgust him.
It was a twisted relationship that they had, and despite being in the same social circle, the power imbalance was insane.
"You miss me, Min ?" She asked.
"We both know why you're here and I'll just tell you, blondie can never compare to me and you know it." He answered, breathless.
Yoongi tried to lean to kiss her but she put her index on his lips, taking a puff of her cigarette as she pushed his head back, her face going from amused to deprived of any emotion quickly, eyes burning holes into his.
"Don't you dare try to fuck with him again, I won't repeat myself." She spoke in a firm tone.
"Or what ?"
She softly grabbed his hand, and he let her, watching her play with his fingers.
He was so affection-deprived self felt himself melt at the touch, but that was until she ended her cigarette on the back of his palm, a hiss leaving his lips, teeth catching his lower lip.
"I'll burn you to the fucking ground."
She slowly got back up, looking down at him.
For the first time, Yoongi felt genuinely scared of Sydney.
Her threats were never empty, and she had never spoke that way to him, even less burning him with a cigarette, that she had since tossed aside, on the ground, like the rest of his important papers.
Saying she was the devil was one thing, but seeing hellfire dance in her dark chocolate orbs was completely different.
Her cute face, deprived of any smile and looking as serious as ever was the only the scariest thing Yoongi had ever seen.
And scaring him took a lot.
She fixed her glove, all while looking into his eyes still.
He refused to look away and let his fear be seen, refused losing the dominance though she completely stripped it away from him.
She was the only one in control, master of the game.
"And you know I can."
