As I awoke from my sleep, for god know's how long, I switched off my phone's airplane mode with my mind still rebooting for the day. I unlocked my phone with my finger and checked WhoseApp. It took a while but there came the vibration on my hand.

Gaia: So sed worhh. Maybe he thinks his skill is quite ok. But he didn't realise that u r the one susah (hard) carrying him. He gets gold medal barh so he puas hati (satisfied) ler.

Gaia: What? Mesti气死你 (Must be something that boils you with anger until you wanna die).

He said, fucking shaddup la u, u think I can do everything is it? I legit play this game for fun if you want to find someone serious you better find someone else la, I play this game casually only. There's a fuck you around here but I forgot where.

Gaia: What the? So impolite. If u play like shit then how have fun? If later he gets into Eminent tier other people not cool with him, of course he'll get marah (scolded), you're just teaching him how to prioritise which lane to clear first, but why he like this? He enjoy being marah is it? He want to troll game ask him to solo la tmr. So bangga (full of himself).

Her words suddenly reminded me of Ares, a player who moved on to focus on his newly acquired interest in HoloVloggers.

My reply of a real cat laughing sticker halted at a single tick . This was the app's way of saying my message was undelivered on the recipient's side. I glanced at the time; right, it's school time for Gaia. I checked the date, the dark lit room had blurred the lines of time for me. It was Friday. The conquest of twilight happens today. It always does, I would never join it after Olympus was made and the main members were selected. Why? I guess it was back then when I was told by Zeus that I wasn't a good choice for competitions because of how hard it was to find mixed competitions for me to compete with the boys. It wasn't so obvious he was trying to replace me from the roles I professed in. Until I introduced Helios. Helios was a player that I brought in years ago on the context that he could fill in when we had missing players for ranks. Helios had a special way of playing mages because it wasn't his first or second profession. He had specialised on marksman and tanker-fighter roles before I pulled him from Grand Maestro to Eminent. He was used to a more rigid way of building one hit burst mages though it would work for some but not all. was already taken while being denied in getting the jersey which had the logo I designed. 

His explanation ran around the lines of it being too hard to reignite chemistry with me again after they played with Helios for so long. 

I didn't see why those excuses he gave did not stop him from asking if I wanted a jersey a few months later when bulk buy was cheaper was it? Thinking about it now, I thought it was bullshit, and what was more ridiculous was that Gaia held a position in Chaos which only main members had, a few months after I brought her in and that I was still stuck in normal members, even though Gaia had the same profession as me. That's when I realised Olympus never needed me anymore from the start. I was nobody.

But Salty left me an unread notification in WhoseApp that Saturday morning, it was a request for the conquest of twilight, when I was asleep around 8A.M. I replied the message with an "Okay." I went about in getting ready for my free day.

10:03P.M. I logged into the game.

Chaos was loading on my laptop while I waited for my phone that could not the game as well as when I first got it home. My phone had suffered a lot during those 4 years, it had almost turned into a brick had I not cleaned its storage monthly, 128gB of storage doesn't seem to be enough anymore ever since I've been using it for online classes, as it was more portable and reliable than my laptop which I was unaccustomed to. I was afraid that it would bail on me that night, but as luck would have it my Chaos loaded faster on my laptop, I took a look on the big screen. Damn, I guess it's full house for tonight, Ares was in here too.

"Hey, look what the cat brought in! Who invited her?", a joking tone sounded in the voice channel.

"I did.", I could hear Ivan's cheeky smile radiating of the screens. "Is there a problem?'
"Yeah, of course. Need I remind you that whenever that she's playing with us, we're always struck with bad luck?"
"I didn't see that as a problem last night, we got 3 victories yesterday. Maybe it's a you problem."
I chuckled. "Come, invite me.", I said as the loading screen finally progressed into the main menu and I began collecting my daily rewards.
"Okay... On my way...", Ivan's laxed voice rang through the speakers. The only one who was not happy about me being in the game was Ares, but it did not show when it was time to play which was very weird of him to act like this.

It was in Ares' nature to be very vocal with me around in the voice channels normally, his instructions were always very confusing to me, it was so much so that I became so nervous I kept slipping up during games, I've tried to follow his instructions of not roaming to the fighter lane but my abilities were always quite limited with him around. It was an exhausting thing to follow what he wanted. After 3 victories, I retired early for the night and left the voice channel. I sighed and threw my phone aside on my bed as I shut down my laptop in the same motion. It was as I expected I couldn't hold the same attitude of playing together with them anymore. I couldn't and wouldn't feel a thing anymore. I had no intention of doing that anymore, I want to rest. I closed my eyes as I took a last look at thetime. 1234am. Huh.
