Chapter 11: "What are your interests, even?"

Lemony Snicket! Some inappropriate language!

I am talking to my shadow and I am very happy <3 I called him a perv.. he denies it but... wink wink XD

"You look awesome!" I yell at him, a little too loud, I make everyone stare. There I go again! Saying my feelings out loud. This time in a public place. Boy, what have I gotten myself in to?

"Thanks!" He was wearing simple black cargo shorts but he rocked them. As I said, his body was perfect.

We buy the swimsuits, which are a little out of my price range but it's so worth it. He looked great in those shorts. And I looked great in my bikini. So that's why it was totally worth it! But I really needed to start working.. badly. I don't have anyone to turn to for money. I'm starting to wish I hadn't been alone my whole life. I pretty much don't have any social interaction now. I don't know how to deal with people. That's part of the reason I became a youtuber actually; I didn't have to deal with people.

We drive home in silence. I don't know about him, but I was thinking about amazing his body looked in the shorts. I sort of hope he was thinking about me in the bikini, but who knows? He could have been thinking about another girl. I really hope not.

Shadow and I finally arrive at the house and I'm relieved. "Home sweet home." I say with a sigh.

"It was fun living in your shadow." Shadow says unexpectedly.

"What does that mean?"

"I liked it there. That's what it means."

We put the shopping bags on the kitchen counter island and I ask him, "What are your interests, even?"

"Well I have a lot, Violet."

"It's funny Shadow, you've seen my lady parts, and I've known you for two days but I don't even know your name."

"My name? Oh, of course! My name is Cole. Sexy, right?"

"Yeah, it is actually." I look down at the floor.

"Oh I was joking, but I'm glad you like my name... Violet."

For some strange reason, I really liked when he said my name. I don't have the slightest idea why. But him calling me Violet made me really nervous.

"You should talk about your interests first." Cole said.

"Alright, Cole, well I like drawing a great, great deal. It's probably my main hobby. I like reading somewhat, but I don't do it really. I love video games, they're basically my life, actually. I like looking at computers as well. Ya know, looking at the specs of certain computers, figuring out which one is the best for a certain price? Yeah I like that too. That's basically what I like to do, or am interested in. What about you?"

"I can't say it... I have to show it."

"What do you-" Before I could finish the sentence he laid my body gently on the couch and started making out with me. I liked- no loved when he did this. I think I could tell what he was interested in - me. We made out for awhile, and he started to slip his hands down my body and take off my skirt, before he could do this I said, "Are we gonna do it?" I totally ruined the mood, but I didn't care cause I wanted to know, so I could say i'm not ready and get prepared!

"No Violet, you don't have to worry. I'll put my hand back up."

He put his hand back up to the side of my face, where his other hand was. Did he want to go further? Was he frustrated with me? I wanted to apologize, but I didn't feel like it was the right time. So I just kissed him back while he kissed me. Suddenly, he sat up and pulled me up too.

"I'll tell you more about my interests later, make sure to be ready this time."

What did that mean?
