Chapter 22: "Did I ever tell you I love you?"

Sorry I haven't updated in awhile! I didn't feel like writing >.< This is just a short story about a girl in love with a shadow, so it won't have much (Triple Baka illuminati confirmed just saying totally amazing song trollol Also Chobits is an amazing anime and anyone who hasn't watched it should because the tears and the feels were so hard OMG JUST GO WATCH IT DON'T EVEN READ MY STORY GO WATCH IT!!) conflict... sorry! I'm not a very good writer also, but my other story is better, you should check it out! "The Light in the Dark" it's a lot better, and has conflict! Yay! On to the story-

When I wake up, Aiden is staring at Cole. Deciding whether or not to punch him hard again. We were taking a nap the usual way we sleep, so it might've triggered Aiden's rage.

"Don't punch him please, he's had enough." I say to Aiden as I quietly slip away from Cole's embrace.

"Idiot!" Aiden replies.

"Hey, why the hell did you say that?!"

"Where did you even meet this dude? I called you an idiot because you guys are stupid!" By the time Aiden said this, we were out of the room and in another of one of my many, many rooms.

"I met him. At the um, at work?"

"So he randomly waltzed in to your office and was like: "Hey wanna be my girlfriend?!"

"Yes..."

He punches me softly. "Idiot! Tell me the truth!"

"Um, so I met him outside... someplace..."

"You never go outside, hikikomori!"

"Okay so... you're probably not gonna believe me but... he's sorta my shadow."

"Idiot! Are you trying to play tricks on me. Might as well insult you in Japanese! Baka, baka, baka!"

"No I swear!" I stood up, we were sitting on the floor. "look, my shadow's gone." I point to the ground where my shadow should be, but it's not there. I realized this only a couple days ago.

"Holy crap! You don't have a shadow!" A look of horror spreads across Aiden's face.

"Told you he's my shadow!"

"Well, is my shadow a person?"

"I think? But you choose to be alone, so it doesn't come out. I was feeling really lonely, so mine just... came out."

"Th-that's amazing! Amazing!"

"Don't say anything to sunny or else I'll hunt you down and break your leg."

"Got it!"

Cole comes in to our room.

"Hi Violet!" He goes in for a kiss, but Aiden deliberately pushes him out of the way.

"You're a shadow, Cole?!" Aiden asks Cole.

"Yep. Guess Violet told ya!"

"I have a new respect for you sir. By the way everyone breakfast is ready, if you want any."

"Dang, I was asleep for that long?" I ask.

"Yep, you were always a long napper!" Aiden states the obvious. "I love you Mrs.Dragneel."

"HEY! I LOVE YOU TOO BUT DON'T CALL ME THAT!"

"Oh, shut up. Both of you, come and eat breakfast."

All three of us walk in to the kitchen together, it felt like I was with friends. I went from being alone to being with 2 other great people. I felt like my life was finally complete. We eat breakfast together. When I was a kid I always remember Aiden's cooking to be so delicious! It reminded me of my childhood. I had a really good life with Aiden. But I also have a good life with Cole.
