- Flashback (To during the time skip at lunch in 'The Promise') -
"We should totally meet up outside of school one day and go out guys!" Mina beamed excitedly to the group.
"Sounds like fun we could go to the mall and hit the arcades!" Kaminari responded back with just as much enthusiasm.
"That sounds great! We should get each others phone numbers to work out the details after school. We need to head back to class pretty soon." Kirishima stated with his sharky smile.
"LIKE I'D WANT TO HANG OUR WITH YOU DAMN EXTRAS!" Bakugo yelled to the group who all just ignored him.
The group all started to exchange numbers with each other, Kiri turned towards me "Sorry guys I- uh- left my phone at home today and I don't know my number off the top of my head, I'll give you mine tomorrow."
Fuck I didn't even think about getting a phone, of course that's how the students would communicate! I'll have to go out and get one, shit!
"Oh, ok we'll get your tomorrow then, but be sure not to forget or I'll never forgive you!" Mina said jokingly to me.
- End of Flashback -
As soon as I got back from UA I started to prepare to go out. I had no way to get money, I had no family I could just ask to get a phone for me. I stood on my own two feet, that was the choice I made 2 years ago when me and my younger twin ran away. It wasn't easy, I had to be careful if anyone ever saw me it would all be over.
I had to get changed, it's not like I could go out and do this in my uniform. I removed the candle from the crate next to my bed and placed it on the floor before picking up the small cracked photo frame. It was an old photo. Me and Shinku sat together, I was reading manga while he was making some kind of small animal figure using his quirk. We must have been around 10 years old, back before my world fell apart. A stray tear fell from my right eye.
"I'm sorry Shinku. I have no choice." I whispered under my breath before placing the frame on my bed. This was somewhat of a ritual I always did, every time I had to go out and do this.
I cracked the top of the crate revealing my old disguise. I took the clothes out of the crate before getting changed. The outfit consisted of a black full body waterproof jumpsuit, it was made for my body over a year ago so it was now fairly tight but still allowed for enough maneuverability, my old shoes did not fit me so I wore a pair of black combat boots, and a pair of leather black gloves. I had pulled my h/c hair up tying it so it would stay hidden before pulling my helmet on.
The helmet looked like a typical black motor bike helmet in shape, but on the front there were two black dots of one way glass for eyes with a big shark toothed smile painted on messily in white. The outfit was made to conceal who I was and it did so perfectly, it covered every inch of skin on my body aside from my neck that peaked out just below the helmet.
The outfit was a painful reminder of my past and how I ended up here, cooped up in an abandoned building, all alone.

The city was buzzing with life men and women stumbling back and forth. It was late and anyone out at this hour was intoxicated and easy to take advantage of. I was wandering the streets too, nabbing wallets as people staggered into me. This was something I had grown quite accustomed to, Blood Flow was good for taking things without people noticing. After all it wasn't a hard form slipping into their pockets or bags like a hand, it was a small liquid trail of blood capable of slipping in and out of small cracks. When I bumped into people it distracted them enough for the liquid to slip in grab what I needed and come back to me bringing my prize with it. It was rare I ever had any issues.
