Stalemate

How the hell am I supposed to win this? If he shoots a large scale ice attack like he did with Sero I'm screwed.

"THE NEXT FIGHT IS ABOUR TO BEGIN! WE HAVE SHOTO TODOROKI VS Y/N!"

We took our marks, head to head opposing each other. Fuck I only have one plan that may work. I raised my hands up in front of me palms facing Icy as he pulled his left leg back slightly. He is going to use that attack. I have no choice.

"BEGIN!" Midnight yelled and I pulled my hand into a fist and pulled it straight down as the boy began to bleed from his nose and mouth. His eyes widened as his hand went up to touch is face. A moments hesitation, perfect.

"ERASERHEAD WHAT IS GOING ON? Y/N HAS MADE TODOROKI BLEED!"

"I- I don't know." He sounded completely dumbfounded and with good reason. I had never used blood flow in school. Nobody knew I had that power.

I darted forward towards the boy pulling the blood that had spewed from his face up blocking his view as I created my scythe.

His leg shot forward. Shit he's doing it anyway.

He made contact with the ground and ice started to form. I shot bloody tendrils from my feet launching up into the air, I was close enough now that it wouldn't hit me. However as I did the blood shield in front of his eyes dropped to the ground.

His ice stopped forming in an instant. A large hill of ice had formed creating a straight decent to the boy. I landed upon it forming my blood into ice skates. I have to get this over with quick my scythe is about my limit already let alone what I'm using with my feet.

I skated down the slope straight towards the boy as his arm swung up, ice quickly shot from the ground up towards me, I jumped up narrowly avoiding it. I was still descending towards him, my speed only increasing.

I pulled my arms up ready to swing for the boy. As I got a second closer I pulled my arms down with as much force as possible. The boy shot back but as it did in combat training it pierced through his chest creating a large bleeding gash.

I pulled all the blood back into my body and landed on my feet facing the boy. He pulled his arm back as I pulled mine up grabbing some of the blood pouring from his chest and sending it flying into him with as much force as I could muster. The boy shot backwards towards the edge of the ring before a blockade of ice formed behind him stopping him.

"WHAT ON EARTH IS GOING ON DOWN THERE HAS Y/N REALLY ONLY BEEN SHOWING A SMALL PORTION OF HER QUIRK ALL ALONG?" Present mic's voice boomed around. And I froze for a brief second but I stopped. I had only now fully realized what I had done. Not only have I now showed the school blood flow, but I've also showed the whole world.

In my moment of doubt a thick pillar of ice quickly shot towards me and hit me square in the head sending me flying backwards.

I would have flew straight out of bounds if it wasn't for Todoroki's own first attack that acted as a barrier stopping me.

The world was silent, I could feel everyone's eyes on me. "IM NOT GOING DOWN ICY. YOU'RE GOING TO HAVE TO HIT ME WITH MUCH MORE THAN THAT IF YOU WANT TO WIN!"

Class 1-A all had a fatal flaw, every single one of them were prone to being antagonized by taunting. Another wave of ice shot up towards me as I bounded up leaving my hand down in its trajectory. It hit and cut straight through my fingers. My hand was now dripping with my blood.

I started to run straight towards the boy as another large thick column of ice shot towards my head. I ducked down and skidded along my knees along the floor dodging his attack.

My palm opened up as I pushed myself off of his beam of ice towards him. I landed against his backup barricade coughing up blood onto the ground.

My hammer quickly formed in my hand while it was mid swing towards the boy. He went flying back as I just did moments ago. He skidded along the floor.

I knelt down touching my hand to the trail of blood I had left before I pulled it up into a large spiral towards me. Icy was caught in a thin cocoon of blood in front of me as I sent a solid roundhouse kick to his face.

A wave of ice shot up freezing the blood around him as he flexed it broke, in a much more fragile state thanks to being cold.

His fist covered in ice shot towards me. I covered my own in blood and shot it towards his. We were both wearing gauntlets of our own making it was now a test of physical strength. Or so I thought.

A wave of ice shot up my arm freezing it up to the shoulder before another wave of ice came from the ground.

I tried to dodge but couldn't move fast enough at this range. I was frozen to the ground.

I pulled my left arm up pulling the blood once again from his chest this time much more before I sent it flying into the side of his head like a whip and then bringing it all around into one full force blood ball to the side of his head.

The boy went flying but shot his arm forward sending a large pillar straight for me. We both went flying backwards out of bounds before hitting into the walls at the side of the stadium. The impact shattering the ice from my arm.

"Uh- I- I don't know who wins. I'm going to have to watch that back. BUT SOMEONE IS THE WINNER!" Midnight called out. The crowd suddenly erupted into chants, both Todoroki's and my own names called out chanted over and over. Midnights had reached up to her ear. "Y/N WENT OUT OF BOUNDS SECONDS BEFORE TODOROKI! TODOROKI IS THE WINNER!" The crowd went wild before darkness took over my vision and I fell to the ground.

I'm going to be 100% honest and admit this chapter just kinda came out of me moment by moment. The original plan was for Y/n to get knocked straight out by the first attack but something inside of me just felt like that was wrong.

I did not plan for her to revel her quirk at all so going to be honest that's a whole bunch of my plans out the window BUT I actually really like how this fight came out so I'm fine with it.
