It all started when I got beat up in the bathroom.
In the hallway, I was confronted by Jase Morrison, my mortal enemy. Jase has always been head over heels for Mel, but I like Mel too. You can see where this gets messy.
Anyways, Jase pushed me against my locker. "I heard you tried to make a move on Parker." "Who, Mel?" I ask, confused. "Yes!" Chase slammed his fist against my locker. "What other girl named Mel Parker do you know?" "We just talked! I swear!" I say. "You just talked," Jase repeats. "You're coming with me," he grabs me by the arm and drags me to the bathroom.
I never stood a chance. Jase had lots of practice punching. I had none. He started with my stomach. He knows that's where I'm the weakest. Then, he moves to my arms. That didn't hurt as much. But when he got to my face... well, let's just say it was not pretty.
I was on my knees before I knew it. Jase just laughs coldly. I didn't even hear someone come in. But all of a sudden, Jase had a bloody nose. "What the-" he says. The kid punches him again, in the same spot. Jase crumples. "Thank you," I gurgle. Would not recommend trying to talk with blood in your mouth. The kid helps me up. "I'm Blake," he says. "I'm-" I say, but I start to get dizzy. "Whoa!" Blake says as I start to fall. He catches me, movie style. My eyes meet his, and he studies my face. Then everything turns black.
